got us a running back
-
yeah, but that only goes back to like 2016 I was wondering who could have done that and Vick comes to mind. Don't know if he ever connected though while in his prime. I seem to remember in his rookie year, he came off the bench against Carolina and threw a 50 yard TD pass across the field to a FB who leaked out. Prime Culpepper to Moss probably could have done it as well. They were launching artillery back then.

He took an entire season off.

Slid late into a Chris gamble tackle. i was at that game. He ended Smoots career. Fred was never the same. -
If the panthers decide to make a go at it, there are grumbling among broncos fans that Jeudy could be had. i wouldn’t want to give up a lot for him, but the team doesn’t currently have anyone that can take the top off the defense. Plus PJ has a hose and tossing in an occasional Da Bomb Flip wouldn’t hurt.

I don’t think that’d do it but hopefully brings it down to just one extra first and not two.

Sounds like we’ve built a culture of consistency.

I think you’re right.

Panthers win Sunday…1st place in the South

Panthers gonna go undefeated against the nfcs, lose out otherwise, hit the playoffs and shock the world baby aroo (wolf howl) -
I think unless we're top 2 picks, we're spending future firsts this year to move up and get our person. That just seems like the logical next step for Tepper.

I suspect PJ is respected in the locker room as well, more than Baker and Darnold. He's a quiet guy, works hard, doesn't have a huge contract, they all know him, and he just wins games. That's the kind of thing Wilks would pick up on more than Rhule.

i think the huddle would prefer the panthers lose every remaining game on a last second bad call from the refs.

I thought Ryan would actually be an interesting choice prior to this season, but at this point it's very clear his shoulder is shot. maybe he's got like half a season of mentoring a young qb in his next year.

i think that's fine. Something weird is going on with Cam Akers, and I'd rather just stick with Hubbard/Foreman/Blackshear.

60/40 rushing/pass ratio The team simply does not have the QB to run anything more than a run based, PA offense and hope the defense can steal some games. Even with the best case scenarios with Baker, this team needs to be setting up the pass with the run. It was gorgeous watching Foreman just abuse people in the 3rd and 4th. And Hubbard is fine as long as he is never asked to catch a pass. He is a one cut runner and that is fine; we have the offensive linemen to pull that off. Moving forward, if we actually want to win games (i know, we risk going into no man's land record wise) we need to leave PJ in there and run a play action offense. Get him running, let him take shots deep because he has the best arm on the team. If we want to win. Which I'm not sure we do.

id just like to point out that a lot of the arguments of burns' value v. not mirror the same conversations that were had about Julius peppers at the end of his first stint here.

This is probably the least talented alabama team offensively in the last five years.

Schefter’s “sources” are managing PR and are usually player agents. This is likely his agent trying to boost the contract Carolina is going to be giving him. i could see this being one first (low) plus a conditional first or something like that.
