  1. Most of the Panthers have never been in a successful organization. Maybe CMC or Moton depending on how you feel about the last few years of Rivera. Gilmore has won a super bowl, DMVP, and been in New England. Very likely commands a lot of respect in that locker room. Wonder what they talk about in group texts, or after meetings, or after Rhule gives a post loss speech. Wonder how he feels after he spent an entire day in single coverage on AB just trying to keep him from going deep with no one underneath to help. I would start casually mentioning how other, better organizations run things. Just a thought.
  2. yeah was kinda interested to see how he and Reddick would do, but of course now Reddick has covid too.
  3. even the team's immune systems are checking out under this coaching staff
  4. Specifically ruhle said "you're either cleansed by the fire or burned by it." That is the stupidest goddamn poo I've ever heard. Ruhle is like some bizarro ted lasso
  5. All I want from this game is for brady to get badly injured
  6. this i lowkey the story of the season and i do not fuging understand it at all
  7. i loved the hire. I thought ruhle was a great candidate. He had shown he could compete in college without the advantage of recruiting, which is the kind of thing that sunk guys like Saban and now Urban. He was very forward thinking and implemented a ton of sports science stuff that I think has merit on its own. He was a huge departure from the usual panthers hire. And it really looks like it isn't going to work out. At this point if the panthers hired Jim Caldwell I would be thrilled.
  8. first round offensive lineman best free agent offensive lineman offensive coaches with NFL experience
  9. im fine with him going for the scoop and score panthers can't kick FGs and its not like hte offense can do anything either. that was probably the best chance the panthers have at a TD all game.
  10. Even something as small as a virus can knock Derrick Brown on his ass
  11. I think you're just trying to cram something into a narrative. He was with the same coaching staff and players that have created one of the better defenses in the nfl this year, and one of the best of all time after the first three weeks.
  12. im not offering him anything reddick is the same player as burns and will be more expensive. Reddick has absolutely gone into merchant mode and is overpursuing everything to try to get a sack. A tag and trade could make sense but you'd need a team that feels like they're just one pass rush specialist away from competing. And even then you're not getting as much as you think you will; you're probably only going to get a third rounder for him. Honestly might make just as much sense to let him walk and play the comp pick roulette.
  13. I think he was pretty toxic in the locker room. He never really played and kinda acted like he wanted out.
  14. And he had a good game yesterday too. at least in the first half. fug that guy
  15. i don't agree fans in general, and this board in particular, have this weird belief that you either win the superbowl or lose out for draft position we get 17 games a year. no one knows how the draft will shake up. just win the game. it's why i don't understand people being upset we beat washington and lost draft position or whatever. we still got a great player, even though he hurt his foot in a freak injury. maybe we get senei, who knows. but you know what we did get? to beat ron fuging rivera. and that means a lot to me.
