If you think you can get a combination of Beal, Irving, and Turner in 2023 then I say go for it… you free up nearly $50M in 2023 to go after big free agents. I could get behind G - Ball G - Beal F - Bridges F - Whoever C - Turner
-
Don’t care, what sport it is… football, basketball, soccer, hock (eh… nvm.)… please don’t lose to any team from Atlanta.
-
When do we get a baseball team? I’m not big on baseball but if it’s from the Carolina’s I’ll support it.
-
On this train as well!
-
I’m definitely on that train!

After the Pacers debacle last year, I just want a competitive game.

Bacot has just announced his return to Carolina and word is out that both Love and Leaky are coming back as well… Dawson Garcia has decided to enter the transfer portal again… As it stands, Carolina’s roster looks like this. G - Davis (S), Trimble (S), Lebo, Watkins G - Love (S), Harris (S) , Walton (S), Dunn (S), Landry F - Black (S), Nickel (S), McKoy (S), Farris F - Puff (S), Styles (S), Washington (S) C - Bacot (S), Shaver (S) This would put Carolina one scholarship over but it’s highly likely that Walton, McKoy, and even potentially Dunn could transfer.

Hornets can match any offer for Bridges per the CBA. Main issue is going to be the luxury tax. I still wouldn’t be surprised to see the Hornets trade for Westbrook if the Lakers would take Hayward. MJ would be much willing to pay the luxury tax for one year over multiple years (Westbrook is on an expiring contract). If we can’t move Hayward for an expiring deal then things get a little more interesting but I don’t think there’s a snowball’s chance in hell that the Hornets don’t match any offer for Bridges.

Most people going with the Hawks tonight… but whatever happens I’m okay with, this draft is deep so being able to get a player like Agbaji or Williams would be a nice consolation prize.
-
I think at that point you risk the integrity of the game. Boston could have easily done the same thing and they chose not to. At the end of the day it’s still going to happen but let’s not make it obvious. What the Bucks did would be on par with Brooklyn just playing Claxton, Duke, Edwards, Sharpe, Thomas, Griffin, and Dragic.
-
Yeah it’s ridiculous… I mean it was blatantly obvious… Jru Holiday played less than a minute so he could get his bonus and then he went to the bench while Sandro Mamukelashvili, Thansis Antetokounmpo, Jordan Nwora, Jevon Carter, Rayjon Tucker, and Lindell Wigginton played the rest of the game…
-
I loved Eric but I think Jordo has overtaken him as far as captains go… Jordo just keeps going.
-
God I would love it for TDA to get the game winner against the rags
-
Milwaukee are still a bunch of bitches for tanking that last game to avoid Brooklyn… they end up third and get to play Chicago…
-
Kind of both tbh but Chicago has definitely been the worst out of the two. I think we could potentially take Miami to 6 games.
-
Get back in that kitchen!

I don’t think he’s particularly slow. I think he’s a typical stretch four. It’s hard to justify taking a stretch four early because for every KD there are hundreds of average players like P.J. Washington. I can see why some might be hesitant to take Holmgren this year because this could be a very good draft: Smith, Banchero, Ivey, Davis, Agbaji, Murray and going down even further you have guys like Williams, Hardy, Baldwin, Wesley, Keels, Houston, Chandler… strong draft imo.
-
Holmgren will be fine… he’s a healthier Porzingis and an elite shot blocker. He probably won’t be a cornerstone piece of a roster but he could easily put up Porzingis numbers.
-
I’m going to hold out hope that if we don’t make the playoffs maybe the NBA will finally reward us with the #1 overall draft pick. Holmgren, Smith, or Banchero would be awesome to have.
-
With this being a summer friendly, hopefully it’s more for show than anything… no sense in getting guys hurt as we head toward the World Cup. Nonetheless, the atmosphere should be electric.

2022 Charlotte FC Game Thread
MillionDollarCam replied to MillionDollarCam's topic in Charlotte Football Club
The fanbase is making The Bank a tough place to play for opposing teams and while the turf was a sore subject to talk about regarding the football team, the futbol team is reaping the rewards. MAR’s Spanish tiki taka style of play works extremely well on turf due to the nature of the quick one-touch passing. Only six more wins and Charlotte will have already matched Austin’s (the most recent expansion team besides Charlotte) win total from their first year. -
Happy for Staal, he struggled early and I had cancelled him thinking he was done… glad to be wrong.
-
Loving Domi tonight… Give me KK - Domi - Marty (Stepan) once we’re all healthy.

Charlotte’s Hispanic population is really showing up and I’m glad the team marketed to them the supporters section has been one of the best in the MLS. We have a bright future and though our team is incomplete (I believe we’ll make moves in the next transfer window): Kahlina, Lindsey, Corujo, Lindsey, Franco, Bender, Alcivar, and Swiderski are great building blocks. Lindsey deserves tons of credit, I can see him becoming one of the best right backs in the MLS in a few years time.
