  1. We really did man. Protecting him with the likes of Byron Bell and Nate Chandler , drafting him slow ass receivers, pairing him with dumbass Shula, etc. We wasted such a generational talent. In a way, it's kind of poetic that we missed on Stroud, because we would have just ruined him like we did Cam.
  2. Damn, that one quote from Cam hit me in the feels. FUG you Gettleman and Hurney. Imagine Cam if he EVER had weapons like Tua has, or Dak has, or Purdy has. Instead we drafted huge receivers that couldn't run routes.
  3. That's all I want these days. The last "fun" thing that happened to this franchise since Tepper took over was, unironically, Cam coming back for those few weeks. This franchise has been a depressing sh*t show for damn near a decade now. If we're going to watch a noddle arm QB next season anyway, I'd rather watch the GOAT Panther do it. At least you'll know that sh*t would be entertaining!
  4. I don't give a fug what anybody says, I would STILL take Cam back with open arms right now. Miss that dude so damn much. He brought an energy to Charlotte that will never be replicated.
  5. Philly's secondary has been ass all season. 32nd ranked pass defense and it's showing already. How did they get so bad back there?
  6. My Eagles homie texted me yesterday and said he's praying we take Brian Johnson off their hands. Seems to be the consensus among Eagles fans and from what I've seen from the Eagles this year, they've taken a HUGE step back with him as the lead playcaller. I take what die hard fans say about their team very seriously, because they have to watch their teams BS all season. Same way Colts fans tried to warn us about Reich, or us trying to warn Washington about Rivera. As far as Halaby, I'd be down for that.
  7. Yeah, no way in hell McCarthy surviving this.
  8. People were DOGGIN on Cam. Man knows his sh*t
  9. We could have done that by drafting Fields and letting him learn behind Cam instead of drafting an injury prone CB.
  10. Jordan Love is impressing the fug outta me. Holy sh* t
  11. Not surprised. Their field conditions yesterday looked apocalyptic
  12. Yikes. Tua is essentially Bryce's ceiling, and even Dolphins fans have lost faith in him. We really bout to waste 2-3 years wondering if Bryce is the answer when we are seeing his absolute best ceiling getting knocked out of the first round yet again?
  13. Not even last year. We should have embraced the suck AS SOON as Cam left. All those years fuggin around with the likes of Teddy, Darnold, and Baker could have went toward rebuilding this godamn thing. We could have already been rebuilt and in a position to compete for superbowls had we done just that. Tepper did the perfect speedrun on how to derail a franchise.
  14. Exactly. His one claim to fame was supposed to be he was this genius that could process at a level we haven't seen since Peyton Manning. Before the draft, we all knew he had a subpar arm, we all knew he wasn't the strongest passer, we all knew he was small, and we all knew he had subpar speed. But his "Elite processing" was supposed to make all of that null. We bombed that pick. Future note for Panthers, next time 2 players you like are 1A and 1B, go with the player who has NFL size.
  15. Umm, they are literally 2 games away from a superbowl, I'd say that is a contender. They have just as good of a shot as any.
  16. The ONLY thing Bryce had over his class was his "elite processing". We bet the farm on one attribute lol
  17. I mean, if this is how you cope, you do you.
  18. I mean, it really doesn't matter anymore. In the end, we picked the wrong QB. This will be a franchise altering decision for the next decade+.
  19. To my recollection, people weren't touting for Bryce, but rather content if he were to be the pick. I think people starting accepting it after news starting coming out that Tepper really liked Bryce and after the S2 scores started being leaked.
  20. As soon as we traded up to #1, I think the consensus on this board was Stroud. Even Vegas had it as such. We had McCown calling him "Joe Burrow 2.0", having everybody geeked out that we were getting our own Joe Burrow. Until a month later when Tepper stuck his fat nose into the decision and ruined everything. But yeah, like somebody said earlier, anybody that watched Stroud SHRED that historic Georgia D knew the kid was going to be something special. I'm keeping my receipts!!!
  21. Let's just be honest with ourselves. If we drafted Stroud and were in the position the Texans are right now, up 45-14 in a playoff game AS A ROOKIE, and Bryce was on the Texans and they went 2-15, we would all be on cloud nine right now. Charlotte would be bumping like the old days with Cam.
  22. We essentially traded up and picked Trubisky over Mahomes lmao
  23. So you're betting on Tepper to pick the correct GM and coach? Because I sure as hell don't.
  24. Something special about this team. Demeco and Stroud is one hell of a pair. Not to mention their GM Caserio who some on here wanted at the time. Good job Texans, you found your core for the future.
