People need to slow their roll judging Justin Fields too early. Lamar Jackson looked like absolute trash his rookie year. Eagles fans were ready to move on from Jalen Hurts just a year ago. So Justin Fields' S2 could very well be proven right if he goes out there and balls out this year.

Bryce was dropping absolute dimes, his receivers did him no favors. And I'm glad you posted that link because I've never seen it, and it was even worse than I thought. Bryce should have beaten Georgia's historic defense TWICE, but his receivers sold HARD in that championship.

Almost half the league runs 70% or more of their plays out of shotgun. Hell, Baltimore ran 96% of their snaps out of shotgun. The modern NFL is changing. You just have to tailor your offense to fit Bryce if he is the pick.

I gotta admit, I've been on the Stroud bandwagon for a while. But the more I watch Bryce Young's tape, that man has that "IT" factor. Don't know how to explain it. Dude is clutch AF and seems to ALWAYS make a play when Alabama needed it. And then on top of that he has elite processing skills to dissect a defense and move them around how he wants, that is a recipe for an elite QB at the next level. I think what has won me over is his poise against pressure (which is something you rarely see from a QB in college). Had one of the best QB ratings when facing pressure his whole college career. That is that "IT" factor I'm talking about. I'm not saying Stroud won't be good, I just think Bryce has something these other QBs don't. Again though, I would be ecstatic to have either one!

I actually love it this way. It would be hella boring if they just came out and said who they were favoring a month prior. At least this way it makes the offseason even more exciting (this has been the most fun offseason in Panthers history). You don't pass on Bryce Young because you are scared he is going to get injured. Injuries are so fluky. It can happen to anyone at anytime no matter how big, small, tall, short you are. Burrow tore his ACL IN THE POCKET. Herbert got his ribs fractured. Brady tore his ACL in practice. Murray tore his ACL on a non contact play. Hell, our very own Cam Newton got an injury that ruined his career because Kelvin Benjamin is a fat lazy fug that didn't bother to make a tackle on a int and Cam had to run down his defender and fugged his shoulder up forever. Point is, NFL is fuggin rough, EVERYBODY will get hurt at some point. All I'm saying is, who's to say we go the safe route and draft CJ Stroud just because he's "bigger and taller" and he goes out week one and gets a season ending injury (god forbid)? You can't predict injuries. Just because you might be getting the bigger and taller QB does NOT mean he won't get injured just as much.
