  1. That's why I think we will never get a coach worth a damn here. It will always be yes men like Rhule or Reich. No quality coach worth a damn is going to let an owner pick his staff for him.
  2. Agreed. I don't care how good the coordinator is, you have to let the new coach pick their own staff. I don't remember a owner picking the assistant coaches for the head coach before. He tried it last year telling Reich he had to keep Campen and Tabor and you see how that turned out.
  3. I would be more hopeful and patient with Bryce if he was a physical specimen like a Cam or Josh Allen. Dude is a 5'9 180 lbs QB with a weak arm, where is the potential?
  4. You attract what you are. Every single process (which is all of them) involving Tepper's input has lead to failure. Had we done even just ONE thing the opposite of what Tepper wanted, we would be in a way better spot right now.
  5. Sh*t, I ain't mad at him. Even though he was exhausting to watch, it wasn't his fault dumbass Fitterer overpaid him off of 4 games with the Saints. Enjoy that retirement bud.
  6. Hmm, let's see..... Option 1 - Go to Chargers with an already established franchise QB and weapons with very good players on defense. Option 2 - Bet your coaching career with a potential bust of a QB, no weapons, no draft picks, and a meddling owner. That sure is a hard one.
  7. I want Gal Gadot, doesn't mean I'm gonna get her
  8. Belichick is just like Greg Popovich these days. You had your shine, the game has past them by.
  9. I mean seriously, what is there to even talk about? Bryce's progression? Non existent. #1 draft pick? Traded it away. New coaching hires? Nobody wants to work for Tepper except retreads and yes men. New GM? Shitterer hasn't even been fired yet (which is pathetic). Players we could potentially build around? LMAO The state of the NFC South? Who cares anymore. I mean seriously, people keep b*tching about @TheBigKat starting threads, what encouraging or thought provoking topics are there to even post during this sad state of Panther football? Tepper has literally ruined this franchise. And the scary thought is this isn't even rock bottom as I feel it can even get worse than this.
  10. I miss having a good season every other year. And as bad as some of our seasons were, we've NEVER in the HISTORY of Panthers football had this bad of a stretch. Yeah, we'd go 7-9 or 6-10 some years, but NEVER bottom of the NFL bad. It was still at least entertaining and we were somewhat still in the playoff hunt if a few things gone our way. These seasons since Tepper has taken over aren't even remotely fun or entertaining. Usually bad teams have a player to cling on to, or a few upsets that get you excited, or some crazy highlights. We have NOTHING. NADA. Not a damn thing about this franchise is encouraging.
  11. I will admit that I was wrong about Anthony Richardson and Will Levis. Didn't want either of them. However, I remember the majority of people on here were pro Stroud when the trade was FIRST made. It wasn't until about a month later when reports started coming out that our owner preferred Bryce when people started accepting the idea that Bryce could be our pick. I'd be the first to tell you I did NOT want Anthony Richardson. Did not like what I saw of him at Florida and thought he was another The Golden Calf of Bristol. Did not want Levis because I did not think he warranted a #1 draft pick. After watching Bryce against LSU, I was VERY hesitant because he looked absolutely RATTLED in that game when pressured up the middle, and that was a huge red flag for me because that ALWAYS happens in the NFL. After going back and watching CJ Stroud SHRED through a historic Georgia defense, I was all in on him. THAT is who I thought we traded up all the way to #1 for.
  12. After a loss, I used to be so angry and it would ruin my whole week. Nowadays, I don't even check out our highlights on youtube anymore. I've gone from NEVER missing a game since I was in the 4th grade (I'm 30 now), to not even caring to check out our highlights on youtube. I genuinely just do not care anymore. The only reason I even pop up after games anymore is because I still have that Carolina Huddle tab just a click away on my hotbar and it's just muscle memory over the years. Tepper has ruined Carolina Panthers football for everybody. It's just not the same anymore. Real Panthers football died in 2018.
  13. As people have already reiterated, it doesn't mean squat if Tepper will have a hand in the next hiring of both GM and coach (which he obviously will). There's no way around it, we are completely doomed. I've seen bad owners completely RUIN franchises with no hope for the future, and are still bad to this day. James Dolan for the Knicks comes to mind. Daniel Snyder. Jimmy Haslam. Dean Spanos. etc. Our ONLY hope is for a Dolphins like lucky find in Mike McDaniels. Stephen Ross FINALLY got lucky. It only took him 14 years to do it. He'll find a way to ruin that too, just watch.
  14. At no point in this season has Bryce looked like he belongs in the NFL. Will Levis has, Richardson has with the limited time he showed, CJ Stroud sure as hell has, even fuggin Tommy DeVito and Aidan O Connell has for Christ sake. Let's just be real, Bryce has looked worse than ALL of them. Just admit we historically fugged up and move on. He has zero upside, which is why a lot of us wanted CJ. But we all know Bryce will get every opportunity there is because Tepper is beyond embarrassed to admit that colossal mistake.
  15. Levis showed more in his first NFL start than Bryce has all season. Then just yesterday you see him rally his team down 14 with 3 minutes left to win against one of the best teams in football. We traded up and picked the worst QB out of the 4 lmao Tepper is a fool.
  16. When we first traded up to #1, the majority of Panther fans and media thought it was a no brainer that we did that to get CJ Stroud. Even Vegas had it as such. I thought there was no way you traded DJ Moore and all those picks for a 5'10 170 lb QB. Until Tepper reared his ugly fat head and started giving his input on who he wanted. The tides changed and the rest is history. This will go down as THE most altering franchise move a team has made. We bet the house on a undersized QB with subpar arm strength lol There will youtube videos 10 years from now on how that trade changed the trajectory of both squads, and sadly we will be the one on the wrong side of it.
  17. That right there tells me we will be bad for a VERY LONG time. What is there even to think about?!
  18. Don't stop there, keep going....... Wasting the best QB we will EVER have in Cam with Rivera and Shula smh Drafting oversized WRs that can't run routes over actual receivers for Cam Having Byron Bell and Nate fuggin Chandler protect your franchise hall of fame QB Continuing to play Cam in meaningless games after that Chargers game when he was clearly hurt, which was the start of the end with Cam Rescinding Norman's tag for no godamn reason right AFTER our superbowl season Wasting 3 picks on CBS in that draft because of that decision Trading for Gilmore and then not resigning him even though he wanted to be here Drafting Horn over Surtain when Surtain was the consensus best CB on the board Continuing to pay RBs big money in the modern NFL It's fuggin endless with this sh*t franchise.
  19. Hurney also would have taken CJ over Bryce
  20. I was ok with going in a different direction....................BUT NOT FOR FUGGIN FRANK REICH! If you were just going to hire a retread coach who literally just got fired midseason, you should have just rolled with the guy who got us back to competency. It's the same as the Cam situation. I was fine moving on from him as the time had come.............BUT NOT FOR FUGGIN TEDDY BRIDGEWATER!!!!!! I'm starting to actually hate this franchise.
  21. Preach brotha. I wanted to pair CJ with either Hyatt or Downs. It actually pains me to know we really would have fielded a MUCH better team than Fitterer has.
  22. 1000% Huddle also would have drafted Howell over Corral CJ Stroud over Bryce Young Josh Downs over Mingo Not traded for Darnold or Baker Got rid of Donte Jackson instead of giving him another contract Not extended Ian Thomas (like wtf lol) Not drafted a fuggin long snapper when Trey Smith was right there for the taking I could go on and on. When the majority of the huddle could have fielded a better team than your GM, it's time to GTFO.
