    It's really not that fuggin hard. Just go study how the 49ers used Deebo last year. A lot of us have been saying that is the ideal amount of touches you want for CMC, not just sending him up the gut 15+ times. We want CMC to OPEN of the offense, not BE the offense or else it's Cam Newton all over again. We're going to waste yet another superstar because of dumb coaching, the Panther way.

    Not gonna lie, did not want Baker. But at that price, who could even be mad? He's immediately our best QB and has shown WAY more than Darnold ever has............all for a 2024 5th rounder and 5 mil. I'll take it.

    1. Who blocked for Burrow? 2. Defense already can't stop anyone (couldn't even stop Kirk Cousins or Jalen Hurts). And are we just going to ignore his previous two seasons before that year he went 10-6 and 11-5? You cannot compete in today's NFL without a franchise QB.

    1. We have his former QB coach who he adored 2. Cam as his mentor 3. We have really good weapons and THE best RB WHEN healthy. 4. He won a championship here in the Carolinas and would have instant fans here 5. He would have (allegedly) a very big say in who he wants as head coach.

    I'm sure it's been mentioned already, but people forget that we do have his former QB coach in Sean Ryan. Could be a big bargaining piece in trying to lure Watson here.

    About what I was expecting, which is why I wish we traded for him BEFORE he got cleared (last year). Could have gotten him at a discount. Now the price is really ramped up. Oh well, he definitely not coming here now. And LOL to all those people saying Watson would never play in the NFL again. Guilty until proven innocent is the new wave nowadays.

    Yes. You don't win in this league without a franchise QB. We would have a top 10 QB for the foreseeable future and would bring excitement back to the Carolinas. I don't think people understand just how fuggin good Deshaun Watson is. It's either him or we get to see another year of Darnold or a rookie

    It just pisses me off to think of all the wasted years of not helping Cam. We FINALLY had a top 3 QB in the league, and we piss it away trying to build a fuggin defense and settling with Rivera and Shula. I'm so sick of this defensive mentality. It's so outdated, yet this dumbass franchise continues to try and build one when ALL the rules set it up for offenses to score in bunches.

    And we still have a front office and coaching staff that still think defenses rule the NFL lol We are so far behind the rest of the NFL it's not even funny. There is NO defense that is stopping either of these offenses.
