  1. AS always, the secret to keeping the cap under control is drafting well, especially in the mid-later rounds. So far, I've liked what has happened the last 2 years. Let's hope we're right. FWIW, this is what OTC is reporting on Moton:
  2. CMC is going to be Sam's savior. But we need him lined up all over the field, and to get other RB involved. As to Chubba's pass protection skills, I admit that I don't know much about him yet. Luckily, I heard about this H-back that we picked up that is a real prick when it comes to blocking.
  3. I rock that same shirt Hoss! nothing but respect for you!
  4. Exactly! let's start keeping some of our own talent for a change. Yes, I realize we can't keep everyone, but the 2 guys you mentioned are definite, and I wouldn't mind trying to see what it would take to keep Reddick more than 1 year or extend Anderson, although I have the feeling we drafted his replacement this year.
  5. "Haskins, according to reports, said he remembered getting into a fight with his wife but didn't remember getting punched in the mouth. In searching the room, officers found a piece of tooth and blood, per reports. occurred in a Las Vegas hotel room earlier this month, according to multiple reports." You know you're trashed when you wake up missing a tooth and don't remember losing it! only in Vegas!
  6. I think you have them listed in order. Was that intentional? I know that taylor has been getting a lot of off season love, so he may beat out Pride if we only keep 5. Pride, Taylor, and STO all are eligible for PS. STO belongs there. After reading this, I see Melvin or Bouye subbing in for Jackson in obvious man coverages and Jackson playing outside in most of the zone coverages. MAN, CAN AUGUST 15 GET HERE ANY SOONER?!?!
  7. CMC is a top notch RB and a top notch WR, but...that was a hellova contract, and the cap hit doubles next season.
  8. No doubt we got waaaaay outcoached in that game. Also, Moton is a lot better than Remmers. I said that we had a GOOD oline that year, not a great one. I agree with your statement, but it doesn't detract from my opinion that it's better to lock down a quality tackle than a quality WR or RB.
  9. Exactly, Cam took to the SB with a good O-line and a bunch of scrubs at skill positions. I get that a big part of that is that Cam played like a man possessed, BUT, if you don't win in the trenches, you don't win. Just look at what happened to KC in the superbowl with the injuries they had on the line.
  10. FWIW, Seattle seemed to keep a lot of top talent (with the exception of o-line, lol) the whole time Fitterer was there. Maybe he gets it in a way that his predecessors never did. When it came to contracts, G-man was too cocky and irrational, and Hurn-dog was a moron. Then again, I have a feeling that they both got a lot of pressure from the owner.
  11. Abso-fuggin-lutely! And I actually think DW played well right up to the SB.
  12. Reddick has a cap hit of $1.9M coming off a 12.5 sack season. That has to be near the top of the list.
  13. This is hilarious! The best part is that Smitty likely would have slapped the poo out of him over 2 points!
