Lemieux is integrated in our system. Comtois is not. He’s also a big time fighter. 109PIM in the AHL this year. He was a -23. This isn’t the blue jackets rookies and bottom 6. I don’t see Rod skipping Lemieux for any other reason than having an expendable fighter that can lay out Trouba or Rempe that we don’t have to worry about getting suspended, etc. I’ll gladly eat crow if he has a good game but I don’t have a good feeling about this move. As much as I’m gonna love Macdonagh saying C** Tw** live on air.

Kuz is listed as a healthy scratch… I assume this is Rod trying to light a fire under his ass?

Lemieux is easily > Comtois based on skill. The only reason I see it is to have a fighter that we can spare out of the game plan to take out Trouba or Rempe.

A big fighter. That’s the only reason I see playing him, is to drop the gloves with somebody.
