Odenkirk is really flashing his acting chops so far. I'm impressed.

Did anybody else yell TUCO! out loud like I did?

Definitely the hottest looking squad to date IMO

I believe I read somewhere that PFF graded him out fairly well all preseason.
-
Yeah he fizzled out quickly. He looked awful when on the field honestly. Out of position often and couldn't make a solo tackle to save his life.
-
Captain is a better nickel. DJ Moore is a better return guy with flexibility to play at FS in a pinch. It's a wash as far as a roster spot is concerned. True intelligence is the ability to entertain a thought without having to accept it.
-
Obviously you wouldn't trade him for a backup caliber lineman. But teams do this all the time. Trade a guy that is solid from a position of strength for another guy that is solid at a position of weakness (or a draft pick). Priority one is protecting Cam, so I wouldn't rule it out all together.
-
Because we have more depth at corner. We have nil on O-line. Munnerlyn and DJ Moore, to me, are interchangeable.
-
Why? Not saying it's the best idea, but please elaborate.
-
Guys still on the roster most likely to be cut: D. Curry TE, T. Ikharo WR, C. Walker DT Those guys are most certainly cut. Still leaves 5 guys to cut.
-
Looks that way. Unless Rivera and Gettleman pull a fast one and cut one of either Munnerlyn and DJ Moore.
-
So both Melvin White and James Dockery made the roster? Interesting.
-
There's nothing creepy about this guy right?

First page of this thread. Zod is keeping an updated list in the 1st post.
-
I think we have to make 8 more to get to 53. I hope Brandon Williams makes it as well. Loads of potential.
-
Yeah it pissed me off when we cut him (Dave Ball too). Brown was dominating in the preseason, got cut, immediately starts for Tennessee for about 5 years. Ridiculous.
-
I had forgotten about Jovan Haye. The guy I was thinking of was Tony Brown.
-
The names escape me but there was a corner that ended up being a very good special teamer and 4th corner for Green Bay (edit: Jarrett Bush), and a DT that started for quite a few years (and played well) for Tennessee (edit: Tony Brown). Also Tim Shaw has been a stalwart special teamer for years. Jerome Felton FB for Vikings. Evan Mathis OG. Im sure there are more.
-
Both Roh and Horton are eligible. I just think they both outplayed Addison. I think we were always going to go with 5 DEs and Addison is the odd man out. Could be wrong, but I doubt it.
-
Horton should have a spot. The guy that needs to be concerned is Addison.
-
He was everywhere in the past two games. Made a lot of good tackles and was rarely caught out of position. Might be the best tackling corner on the roster.
-
I can. He didn't play well at all.
