  1. There are always Derek Anderson types out there
  2. Down in the fourth... This is one of those moments where you see what you're made of.
  3. Brooks and Hubbard in the backfield together is a nice look. Don't wanna jinx it but I like what I see from Brooks so far.
  4. Been watching the game but hadn't really been able to interact much (family visit). Are we about to see Kyle Trask? Didn't we have someone on here who was a huge fan of his?
  5. I'm coming to the point of believing he deserves another year to try and show he can be a starter. Not quite there yet, but leaning in that direction. Still, I'd prefer to have a capable veteran backup.
  6. Damn. Cousins picked a bad day to have a bad day
  7. Doesn't help when you have people on your staff undermining you behind your back either.
  8. Hell, plenty of us expected Hubbard to be let go a couple of offseasons ago (and it was a reasonable take at the time). He's grown, developed, and really proven himself.
  9. Dumb decision by Jim Harbaugh there...
  10. Saw that... May or may not have laughed
  11. The question is was it a dirty hit. My answer would be yes.
  12. I don't recall pitching Eberflus as a head coach option anytime recently...or previously, to tell the truth. I'd been wanting an offensive coach over the last few cycles.
  13. I'd be willing to wager most if not all of us have, at some point, found ourselves in a situation where we just stopped giving a sh-t. This is especially true when you realize the people leading your particular group or organization are incompetent.
  14. Not so sure I agree with that anymore... There was a time, but over the last several years OL play has just gone in the toilet.
  15. The guys in the game actually seem like they're trying to help prove my point right now
  16. I've never bought into the idea that teams intentionally tank or that the NFL is rigged. People lose their jobs, and sometimes their careers, during losing seasons. I have a hard time believing that anybody in the NFL is noble enough to risk that sort of thing "for the good of the team". Sometimes, teams, coaches and players are just legitimately terrible.
