I don't know if this is a good idea

Holding them to a field goal was good...

Whatever happens, this is a lot better game than the early one.

It's really hard to turn the tables on this big of a momentum swing.
Granted, but that's what scrappy teams do.
Will they? Don't know, but they've got the right coach for this sort of thing.

The Lions don't deserve it. That 3rd quarter was about the biggest comedy of errors I've seen on a football field.
Plenty of teams screw up but still pull out a win.

Why would anyone blow their tops about the outcome of these two teams that would both just absolutely skull drag us?
I'd like to see the Lions win, but I'm not gonna scream whatever the outcome is.
I checked out of this season several weeks ago.

Man, what a bad sequence for the Lions.

Good Lord bailed out an INT.
Yeah, that should have been picked.

That was wild

Here again, so if Tepper wasn’t talking to assistant coaches Reich would have won more games?  Fitts players would have played better?Â
Tepper helped sabotage Reich from the beginning by influening his staff choices, among other things. Likely also influenced some of the major personnel choices as well, as has been discussed at length.
So yes, he affected their ability to win.
If, at some point, you experience a dysfunctional work environment like what the Panthers had, maybe you'll get it. Till then, I'm guessing not.

Will come down to the Lions defense slowing down Mahomes.Â
Chiefs defense is likely used to being able to play from ahead.
Not so sure they'll have that advantage against the Lions.

Yea, and good workers do their job regardless.
here again, if Tepper wasn’t talking to assistant coaches would the teams record be better? The answer is no.
If I own a team and they start 0-6 I’m asking everyone in the building what is wrong.
Tepper hired  the wrong coach and wrong GM, that is why we lost so much.Â
Yeah, the boss did nothing wrong, it's all the employees' fault...
Riiiight 🫥
Either you haven't been in a real work environment, or you're the kind that thinks backstabbing and such is okay, hence the "boss is always right" stance
This isn't Madden. There are real people with real motivations, feelings and agendas involved. Internal turmoil among locker rooms and staffs causes real world issues...and lost seasons.
Reality: Tepper created a toxic work environment that undermined Reich trying to do his job. Fitterer actually became complicit in that, which is part of why he's gone. Now also part of why Chris Tabor, James Campen and others are gone.
If you can't comprehend how that works, I doubt I can help you.

Agree. If people are complaining over this they are just complaining for the sake of complaining. Tepper has essentially done everything one could ask for this offseason. You can disagree with the choice of GM and HC, but from a selection process and restructuring of the org, he has been spot on.
I would have been upset had we put a non-personnel guy in charge of the roster. We flirted with that idea, but ultimately didn't do it.
That doesn't guarantee Morgan was the right choice, of course, but at least he has the right background for the job.
(so did Fitterer)

Joe gets it...

So if Tepper wasn’t talking to assistant coaches our offense would have scored more points and we would have won more games???
Think about itÂ
Never been in a work environment?

If you remove fandom it honestly makes sense. We have a terrible owner, a bad roster, and we're tied to a QB that leaves a lot to be desired. WFT has draft assets, a better roster, and no Tepper. I hate it because I think he'll be a good coach.
I don't look at it through fan goggles. All of that and more is valid.
Tepper created a toxic environment that I can't blame anyone for wanting to avoid.

Did they not try last season and he declined?
He declined all head coaching interviews, not just usÂ

I mean....I have no doubt they tried.
I'm hoping for some details after everything is done.

we need to start winning because I could give a fug about these stories. save the energy for someone else
These stories are a pretty big part of why we're not winning.

No offense to Dave Canales, but how do you not at least try to get Ben Johnson?

Hope for the best...
