Josina Anderson: Panthers NOT trading Adam Thielen
ClawOn replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep if they want him it would be at Dan's price who I suspect is more optimistic on the season's outcome than the Huddle. -
One thing I've learned in life that's usually correct: when everyone is selling, buy. The sentiment here is not far off Rhule level. Must mean that good things are coming. I'm pumped.

Long shot but any chance we could move the draft to 4pm Sunday? I got ambushed with family pictures at 6. If not I'll try to sneak to the side if possible. @ACobra289

Jacksonville. 17 days. That's all that matters.
-
I was actually a bit encouraged by the game tonight. I can see the plan, we'll see if it's a good one. 9-8 after a 3-1 start. Miss the division and playoffs by 1.

Irrelevant in this discussion then. Morgan isn't trading 1st rounders for Hendrickson. Off the top of my head his trades have been: Burns for a 2nd, a shuffle with D Jackson and Johnson that didn't work or hurt, 7th round Barrett for Michael Jackson (wow) and a 4th for Mingo (uh, yeah). I don't follow why anyone would discern from that track record that he'd ship a single first for Hendrickson.

Had to look it up. Ethan Garbers. Waived in July.
-
For sure. Hope he gets the 2nd half. Since I torture myself with watching every play of every game, a little juice would be nice.
-
He's got until Thursday. I'd still rather watch him run the same 5 plays than Plummer
-
He's not Dalton or Plummer. I'm in.
-
A bit of an aside but do you have any hope for Evero?
-
You can't have credibility about churning the bottom of the roster and retain Dalton and Plummer.
-
It's just preseason, but why does the entire roster look like they haven't played football before?
-
Ah excellent. Auto draft would do better than me but I prefer to fail all on my own.
-
Did I miss the draft?
-
Agreed. 300 and 2 or 3 total in Jacksonville in a winning effort would sure be a nice start.
-
I want to agree as I've said this exact same thing in prior preseasons but while winning doesn't matter, the absence of signs of competence throughout the roster has indeed translated to the regular season for a number of years.
-
Totally agree. A replay of this effort against Houston doesn't doom the season but certainly dampens reasonable expectations
