Things like this are only going to become an inevitability over time anyways. NIL has opened the door for it and honestly I don't blame these young players one bit. This money is a drop in the bucket compared to profits the league makes. No pity party for the owners here.

The only thing I'd say in relation to the Panthers is going forward we better start drafting well because if you're going to get held over a barrel by a draft pick they better damn well not end up being a bust.

Could be wrong but I'd think it would make injury risks like Brooks undraftable.

Based on what? Directly leading up to the draft there was a rumor that the team was split on whether Graham or Nolen was their top DL. It's hard to know what the intentions were simply because for the first time in seemingly forever we didn't just advertise the hell out of our 1st round intentions. I like it and I hope that starts a trend.

But the huddle guaranteed me it was Walker.

Take away Hunter’s yards and TDs and he still had 3000 passing yards and 22 TDs last year. That’s throwing to guys that probably aren’t getting drafted. I’m just saying the guy clearly has talent and shouldn’t fall this far. Sure he was overhyped but the NFL is sending a message IMO.

Nothing to do with it.  There is no vendetta. WRs and CBs can be prima donnas.  QBs in the NFL have to be leaders.

Can anyone show me this guy actually beating a block? Everything I can find is just him running past or through a blocker overwhelming him with sheer physical talent. I haven't seen anything where he uses any technique. Even then, half of his "highlights" are him having a clear path to the ball but yet basically just running seemingly blind in the general direction and not even coming close to making the play. I just don't see a football player. I see a world class athlete who just happens to be running around in a football field.

Yeah if the results aren't there in college it's tough to project to the NFL. Not a risk we need to take in the 1st (or 2nd)
