  1. So we traded last year’s first, last year’s second, this year’s first, a 2025 second, D.J. Moore, two firsts and a second for Bryce Young, a second, and a fifth? Damn.
  2. this guy? dude's best pick was the one his wife made.
  3. He also spoke about running to set up the pass. Specifically mentioned Chuba but not Sanders.
  4. I’d say his roster spot is safe. However, I would be concerned about how long the leash is as a starter.
  5. Brown is an old diesel tractor - does the work, gets overlooked by everyone. Sanders is a Porsche - pay heavily for a Volkswagen.
  6. Meaning he starts. Didn’t mean he does well, just that he starts and finishes most games.
  7. Tailor made for a game manager. Young in San Fran would be pretty good. Purdy in Carolina would look about like Young.
  8. Looks like our receiver room. Why have four wheels (legit WRs) when we can operate (albeit poorly) with three (no names and has-beens)?
  9. In today’s “Athletic” article, Joe Person compares Bryce Young to a Toyota because of his reliability. Which led me to think, if he’s a Toyota, what model? My thoughts: If Young is a Toyota, he’s a Corolla - entry-level base model with nothing special. Too small, too slow, and average, at best. Sure it’s reliable, but if you’re being honest, it’s basic and will be replaced by something better in a few years. No one actually wants a Corolla - they settle for one. Why stop there? Is Burns an Escalade - looks nice from the outside but just a base Tahoe? Is Horn a Land Rover - tons of potential but always in the shop? Keep it going…
  10. Nope. He was all-in on Young and Mingo. I’ll pass.
  11. Tepper will hire a “yes man” to do his billing. That’s the only reason Fitterer is still here. Bullies surround themselves with those that will do as they’re told. Tepper can’t handle pushback because that would mean there’s someone smarter in the room. Tepper cannot admit that he’s wrong and will double down on his poor decisions. The next head coach will be some has-been pushover.
  12. How does a billionaire turn this asset into a poverty franchise? What an embarrassment.
  13. Sitting on the train trying to recall Fitts mistakes. What have I missed? Traded a 5th and Dan Arnold for CJ Henderson Traded Denzel Perryman and a 7th before the season started for a 6th rounder (ended up having a career year with the Raiders) Drafted Jaycee Horn over Pat Surtain and Micah Parsons Drafted a long snapper in the 5th then cut him after sitting a year on IR Traded far too much to get Sam Darnold then immediately signed an extension before he took a snap Let Haasan Reddick walk Resigned Ian Thomas Resigned Donte Jackson Traded up for Matt Corral over Sam Howell Drafted three players with no college production (Barno, Smith, Barnes) Traded for Baker Mayfield then let him go (now playing well in Tampa) Overpaid Robbie Anderson Traded CMC Let D’Onta Foreman walk, cut Baker Mayfield Overpaid for Adam Thielen and Miles Sanders Didn’t trade Burns for two 1st and a 2nd Traded our best WR, two 1st rounders and two 2nd rounders to move up and take what looks like the wrong QB Passed on Dell and took Mingo Traded up for an older edge rusher with limited college production (DJ Johnson)
  14. Stroud had 306 yards passing and two touchdowns in Sunday’s 30-6 dismantling of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He’s thrown for 1,212 yards and six touchdowns with no interceptions in four games for a passer rating of 100.6. Young has thrown for 503 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in three starts, missing a Week 3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks with a sprained right ankle. He has led Carolina to only two scores, has completed one pass of 20-plus yards, and his Total QBR of 27.8 ranks last in the NFL among qualified quarterbacks.
  15. Again, if he doesn’t turn it around, we will be the example of failure to properly assess a player’s skills…again. Only this time the stakes were sky high.
