  1. My pixel watch is used primarily to track my sleep and secondarily to see my texts and calls handsfree.
  2. I dig the Pixel line. I've kinda always enjoyed having something few others around me have, and almost everybody I know is rocking a Samsung or iPhone. Hell, I used a Motorola for a few years at one point and was pleased with it until the battery started lasting like, 7 hours.
  3. We are the same person I think. My wife thinks iPhones are easier to use and I just don't see it. Then again, she can't navigate a windows pc so. I enjoy Samsung phones when I've had them. I'm pretty heavily invested into the google ecosystem but I'm trying to break it up a touch (I use edge which is still chrome based but I use bing which can be .. interesting at times).
  4. That is straight fire though. Foldable touch screen is pretty sick, one of my supervisors has one and enjoys it. It did finally break but it got replaced fairly quickly and it went a good while before having any issues at all.
  5. Rivera offenses were more exciting than ours. Not even just because of Cam either. They functionally were more interesting to watch.

So I'm in the market to replace my Pixel 7 Pro, which I've enjoyed but the flashlight stopped working and my kids cracked the screen. I already replaced it once because it got lodged in my lawn mowers motor housing (don't ask how, still not certain) and melted half a corner off. I had an s21 but dropped it from a scissor lift to concrete. Was fine until then, except the battery life. So my dilemma is going to the Pixel 9 Pro vs s24+. Anybody have anything to say between these two?
  7. It's wise in the event that you're ever in a rut. Say the offense is stagnant, you're in the late part of the third quarter, coach might say "fug it, let somebody else call this drive" and boom it works. Doesn't mean anybody gets demoted or promoted or anything, but it could lead to a fresh perspective and new plays that maybe you weren't considering that somebody else sees.
  8. I'm firmly in my desire for Matt Reeves Bat-verse continuation and having a proper DC universe set in the tone of the comics in the last 20 years. Serious with characters having personality that break that darkness and lighten it in moments. Not cheaply done like in The Flash but done with some care. Marvel jumped the shark and seem to be floundering trying to get their bearings. As stated, nobody gives a damn about the characters anymore.
  9. It's ok guys. They're hiding the real offense. You'll see in week 1! They don't want to expose the actual playbook! We all collectively pray as we lay our heads down tonight
  10. Preseason is for talent evaluation. There's two fuging series before regular season that really matter. It's fine.
  11. The difference is Smitty when he was here was different from Smitty now. Now he's throwing knowledge and isn't emotionally tied to it. Back then, I could see him trying to help a guy and if he didn't get it, getting pissed because he realized he'd have to carry the load longer because his help is trash.
  12. A rookie isn't NFL caliber day one?! This is unprecedented! It's not as if the organization has millions invested in training and coaching to improve his athleticism and skill or something. Throw him away, he's useless. Am I doing it right?
  13. I mean wtf are you supposed to say here beyond what he said. "I coach UCLA. Cool conference, much excite" really covers it. I think he WANTED to say more but I mean... fug it I tried. Dude had no idea what to say. Deshaun is probably a better coach than speaker. Or he fugin better be lol
  14. Idk, gut feeling. I think we'll be largely competitive, even if scores end up one sided sometimes. I don't think we have the experience and cohesion to really be battling week in and week out for 4 quarters, but we'll hang around through 3 and some days we'll have our poo together and get some wins. Towards the back end of the season, as long as we can tell we've progressed and improved, it will have been a good season. That's the marker I'm looking for. First 4 games, I am anticipating sad times lol
  15. We hover around .500 and have hope for next year.
  16. Offensively, I think TMJ shows out. Defensively, Horn finally stays healthy and kills a full season
  17. Literally only listen to Sleep Token at this point
  18. D-Will did basically nothing his entire rookie season. He'll be fine folks.

Game is a ton of fun. Really does hit that arena shooter itch without the lame that is CoD. Still has its weirdness with net code but otherwise, solid game. Hope Ubisoft doesn't fug it up after this first month of feedback.
  20. Different games even then. Back then, big bruising backs were still a thing so some naturally stout kids with speed played RB and tried to become that. Brooks grew up in a time where RB can be the skinny, shifty guy. Good news is college packed on muscle. Could keep adding
  21. I don't think so. I think once you're measuring electronically, the spot is where the sensor says it is. So if it says half yard short of the line to gain, that's the spot. Now how that works with scrums and the ball moving on two minute drills and poo is anybody's guess.
  22. From my understanding the side judge is still there Again side judge + booth official Again, officials. This tech is only for spotting down and distance
  23. Key is, Brooks runs big. Once he develops the power to be effective in that run style, watch out.
  24. He's a rookie. He'll be light this season and adjust his diet and training next off-season. Typical RB progression for smaller backs that aren't utilized similar to CMC types. Which Brooks won't be. I expect him at around 225 before season starts, depending how they're treating him. Which is only 10 lbs lighter than Stew in his rookie season.
