  1. In the modern NFL, you aren't going to last long unless you tailor your schemes to the strengths of your personnel. We are very bad at that on offense so far in 2022.
  2. Well watching the offense definitely shows that to be completely untrue. At the bare minimum, McAdoo is trying to pound a square peg into a round hole. At the NFL OC level, that's really stupid.
  3. Well the modern NFL offenses typically focus fairly heavily on tweaking offenses to make their best players(especially QB's) more effective. We are literally doing the exact opposite of that under Ben McAdoo. This isn't an offense that many QB's wouldn't have some struggles with. But it doesn't help that we are taking a flawed QB and making him operate outside his comfort zone.
  4. I think the injury was real but I do also think Rhule would have found some way to keep PJ.
  5. We wouldn't have found out because Rhule wouldn't have played him.
  6. Yeah but we also don't do a very good job of scheming guys open with any regularity.
  7. In fairness to Neal, though....he is also a rookie. Andrew Thomas got slammed his first season as being a bust and now he is one of the best LT's in the NFL. I am more than willing to be patient with Ikey and especially if we can bring BC along beside him. Maybe in a couple of seasons we have that side shored up for a while.
  8. The Cardinals are 1-2 and very close to being 0-3. Rhule might be able to beat the other college coach again.
  9. Once they understand the concept of acceptance of failing situations.
  10. Sinking vs. floating argument, for sure. Also, 16-25 is wrong.
  11. I'd make that trade. Toney would probably be riding the pine like Shenault was, though. Rhule is still Rhule.
  12. Yeah, pretty sure you are the only person that wants to watch the Pro Bowl game.
  13. The game has always been a joke. The skills competition is actually interesting for fans and players.
  14. Even though we still suck as a team, no one SHOULD be upset about beating the Taints. fug em.
  15. Didn't know that but, trust me, that fuging NFL+ is the NFL HOF of apps.
  16. Ikey and BC are gonna need a lot of time to develop chemistry together. Just have to be patient.
  17. 1000%. Massive upgrade. That will be a lot of fun.
  18. The NFC South looks like it might be pretty bad. TBD. I could see NO rally if they bench Winston to let him get healthy. Atlanta I am just not sure what to think about. I believe they are a bottom 5 team but I could also see is losing two games to them.
  19. I saw one sack on BC getting beat on a stunt. It looked like the OL played fairly well in this game, TBH. By their standards, at least.
  20. See above. I just don't really invest a lot of thought into it for those reasons and also....we don't even know what the draft is really gonna look like because the college games are still being played. The hierarchy of the elite players is still in flux too. It's just.....too early to really worry about that. That's a week 9 or 10 hindsight discussion.
  21. Yeah, I really don't so much care about how terrible we are. That's pretty obvious but even bad and terrible teams can still win games. Same with the other 31 teams in the league. Hence why I say it's literally too early. That's a last 8 or 9 games discussion when the quality tiers are a little more fleshed out.
  22. If we keep Rhule for 2023, I assume our entire offense is just going to devolve to kneeling on each play and then punting.
  23. I mean we have 14 more games in the season. There might be an 0fer team or four 1-3 win teams. We don't have any idea how we will be positioned at this point. It's quite literally just too early to be worrying about draft position.
