  1. I don't care how bad a Panthers player is or how much you don't like them, you shouldn't be trolling them on the internet or social media. If you want to say the poo to your friends or other fans, fine. But attacking them personally, that's fuged up. Sam Darnold is one of the worst players I have ever seen wear the uniform. I would never say a cross word to him in public nor stalk him on social media trashing him. Same with that unkempt huckster, Matt Rhule. I have no desire to harass him or his family. It's still just a sport. It's still just entertainment.
  2. You are assuming Fitterer doesn't eventually get canned.
  3. Yeah, Snow is about the last guy I would expect to see get elevated if Rhule gets canned mid-season. Not to mention, that is a Rhule guy through and through, I suspect he is out the door when Rhule goes.
  4. I am already prepping for Corral to not get a fair evaluation from the coaching staff. I keep thinking of what the dumbest possible thing the coaches could do and that's it. It would be very Panthers.
  5. 1. Under. I suspect he will see more double teams without another high end pass rusher available. 2. Over. I think Corral steps in and ups our QB play, even if just slightly. 3. Under. Not sure I project him to be a ball hawk as much as a lock down guy. 4. Over. 5. Push. 6. Under. 7. Over.
  6. Actually this was not regarded as a very deep draft(overall), hence the run on a few positions that had some upper end quality. Also why I don't believe that many teams, if any, had first round grades on these guys in the 3rd-5th rounds. Mainly because that was what a lot of the scouting/FO quotes basically said. I am not bringing that up to throw shade at Corral or really any of these dudes. I am disputing the OP assertion that multiple teams had first round grades on these guys. I am calling BS based on the results we saw. On paper this offseason appears to be a little better but I am skeptical enough that I need to see the FA's play first before I jump on board. I hope they nailed all of them. Draft included.
  7. So they clearly didn't think these guys were franchise QB's in that case, right? Otherwise you don't let them sit around for three to five rounds.
  8. I think you are thinking we are a much better team than we actually are.
  9. I'd almost rather Wilks than McAdoo.
  10. From one poo HC to the next. It would be a fitting thing considering what I think of Tepper.
  11. Yeah, and if you are gambling it's the most wise to take a gamble on a health issue or background guy. IMO, anyway. He's still a fairly flawed prospect even aside from the other issues.
  12. If that were true, when these guys went to other teams they would be successful. That is almost never the case. To further the point of that article, since then the 3rd round QB's were: Mason Rudolph Will Grier Kellen Mond Davis Mills So far, just one possible hit out of that group(still early). And that's the point I am making, is that just by round drafted alone, we should all take a little bit of a step back and understand that Corral isn't statistically likely to be more than a backup QB. Which, a backup caliber QB is still better than PJ Walker and Sam Darnold, so there is that.
  13. I think Tepper may actually be dumb enough to keep Rhule around regardless of the 2022 results. I know people said he was just saying the PR thing when he talked about the rebuild process being long but if you didn't fire him after last season, why would you fire him after he has another losing season? I am starting to be of the belief that Tepper has gotten completely rooked by this used car salesman.
  14. He isn't a "must sign." That's a ridiculous level of hyperbole. He might make us a better defense but it isn't going to succeed or fail on him being here.
  15. I think he actually helps us more in run defense, TBH. He's a very solid run defender, which we could use even more.
  16. Yeah. So "some teams are dumb" is your counter? Listen, I know hope is springing eternal(like it always is after the draft) but we need to be realistic about our 3rd round QB. If we are trying to hype him like he is the next Russell Wilson because he is a 3rd round draft pick....that's not likely to end well. Don't get me wrong, if there is a franchise that could use a good outlier home run, it's ours. But if you start pinning your hopes on outliers.....well.....that doesn't usually end well.
  17. Sometimes even the tape lies. Unless you are there day in and day out with each of these players, you don't really know what they are made of. And you don't know how they are going to respond when the bullets start flying.
  18. I can understand if you want to lean on the "outlier" hope but the idea that teams had first round grades on guys that went in the 3rd-5th is fuging ludicrous.
  19. Agreed. We also handed the job to Darnold on a golden platter which proved to be a mistake
  20. 32 teams apparently didn't think he was a 1st rounder. I mean....that literally happened. Then it happened in another whole round. So anyone claiming they had a first round grade on Corral, Willis, Howell, etc......they clearly didn't.
  21. I would like to see 3-0 and then maybe clinch in the 5th game in Raleigh, TBH.
