  1. If we can make a cheap trade up or trade a player, I am down with that. I don't want to see much in the way of 2023 draft capital spent.
  2. I don't think Lance was ready day one but I think he is going to adapt well once he gets more reps.
  3. He isn't yet but it isn't tracking in a positive direction. He was another that is following the Rhule "Brand" of lacking accountability and lashed out at fans during the season. Great "culture" we are creating.
  4. He can't watch tape. Hence why he is Googling clips that support his argument rather than just looking at actual game film.
  5. Yeah, Luke is an all world talent but LB's need competent play in front of them. Anyone remember Ray Lewis being upset when his NT wasn't resigned(forget his name now)?
  6. I mean, I literally told you to watch the All-22. Pick a game. Any game. Watch all his snaps. You will see what I mean.
  7. I mean, w are laymen and this is obvious. Go watch any person with an ounce of professional football experience break down his play and they will pretty much say the same thing. He hasn't been good and he hasn't improved on basic skills at his position. That cannot be spun any other way that is positive. I can't blame that on coaching either. I love to abuse our coaching staff but his lack of development is squarely his fault. It's up to him to consistently get better at his craft and he has not done that.
  8. Better players will always help but he is getting beat fairly consistently. That is ultimately his fault. I would agree with you if he was regularly dominating one on one matchups but he just isn't.
  9. No, I don't. You shouldn't need better players around you to avoid getting ridden out of the screen on play after play as opposing RB's run by. His faults aren't other players, they are his. He simply has not done the work to be better at his craft. He is trying to just line up and be stronger than the guy in front of him like he was able to in college. Well that doesn't work in the NFL. You have to have proper technique and use that strength effectively. He doesn't have that on a consistent basis. The fact that he hasn't improved and gotten worse means that the opposition is well aware that he isn't improving as a player and that is why he gets abused so frequently. It's quite literally on the tape.
  10. It wouldn't help Brown not get abused in one on one's. That happens far too frequently. Believe what you want but I'd suggest looking at the All-22 tape while you do it. It's bad.
  11. Yeah, he was supposed to be physically dominant but his technique is unbelievably poor. He has not adjusted to the NFL at all.
  12. I assume you are a last three years fan if you actually believe that.
  13. There is really no argument in the Star versus Brown discussion. Star was a very good run blocker and a very poor pass rusher. Brown is an okay pass rusher and extremely poor run blocker. Star performed the function that he was intended to and Brown has absolutely not done that. He has also not only failed to improve but regressed. I was a BIG supporter of that draft pick to take Brown but it was a massive mistake. He is not a good player.
  14. Brown is easily the worst top 10 pick we have made since Tim Biakabutuka.
  15. If he is accurate, that decision pretty much negates taking Eknowu at 6. It's that bad of a choice. I mean....you absolutely take a first(or probably second) round pick for Brown.
  16. I like Walterfootball for sources but I have a hard time believing this happened. I am not seeing any scenario in which we don't take a first round pick for Brown. He has been a huge bust.
  17. 49-0 so far. I am not sure I have ever seen such universal approval of a draft pick. Wow. Shows how long the fans have been wanting an investment in LT though.
  18. Breer only mocked two QB's in the first round recently and they were late picks(nailed the Steelers taking Pickett). I do think he is on to something there.
  19. Yeah, any of those top 3 LT's were going to make me happy, even if I did have a preference among them.
  20. It really is. The poll shows that, as well. I will say that I fully expected them to fug that pick up and they somehow didn't.
  21. Oh yeah. If anyone deserves success in this QB class, it is Willis. I hope he is able to stick in the NFL for a while and become financially secure. Can't say I ever see him being a regular NFL starter but if he works really hard, it could happen. The skills are there, no questions about that.
  22. Yeah and if this pick works out, at least we have a base to build a good OL on when we have competent coaching again.
