  1. Not sure which is worse for us, a meddling owner or the scenario where the owner HAS to force Rhule to make a better move at QB. Neither are good, that is for sure.
  2. That would be a pretty cowardly move, IMO. Don't get me wrong, glad it ended up that way but that would be pretty chickenshit.
  3. What I hope Rhule learns from this(hopefully successful) season is the value of veteran leadership on a team. And Cam isn't the only example of that. Think about Snow's quote about Stephon Gilmore wanted to get Kyle Pitts in the ATL game. That is another example of veteran leadership that I think has been relatively lacking for an EXTREMELY young team. It was one of the things I was most concerned about when they went into this rebuild in earnest in 2020. They also jettisoned/lost all of our leaders(some deserving, some not). We never really regained that until this season. You need those guys who have experienced success in the NFL and know what it takes to succeed. It's invaluable.
  4. Yeah. The fact they are afloat is a tribute to how good their pillhead coach is. And we beat them at their prime. I hope Cam is hitting on all cylinders by that game. I would LOVE to go down to Nawlins and get the brooms out on those bitches.
  5. The amazing thing was that he somehow got worse here. Which, even to those of us that knew it was a huge mistake to acquire him, doesn't make me feel good about our staff and their ability to develop a young QB. Don't get me wrong, I realize Darnold was beyond hope but you would still think he'd be a LITTLE better than last season.
  6. I saw you reply to that and my head was like....
  7. He isn't a good QB even when his feet are set. The OL isn't THE problem. Sam Darnold was THE problem.
  8. Both the Panthers and WTF's are bottom 10 in turnover differential, so that will be an important key to victory. They like coughing the ball up as much as Sam Darnold does.
  9. Yeah, especially knowing he is only 38 in that picture.
  10. Well, Tampa isn't a BAD defense. They are still top 10 in yds/game. However, their pass defense is very suspect, they are middle of the pack in points allowed, and bottom 10 in adjusted sack rate. They do force a lot of INT's for being a suspect defense. That is something we have to watch against them. Thankfully the scourge of Sam Darnold is lifted but PJ is careless with the ball, as well. I don't think it should be too much to ask to split with Tampa with our defense.
  11. Matt Rhule, please report to the principal's office.
  12. The thing is, though.....Tampa, NO and Buffalo aren't as scary as they once were. There are definitely weaknesses to exploit in all those teams. Plus....we already beat New Orleans.
  13. Well, considering the way PJ played the real question is why was Darnold even starting that long? PJ already had a better command of the offense. And that's Rhule's boy, too. Darnold had starting shitting himself in Game 4, it took this long to make a fuging obvious decision??? Rhule isn't off the hook for that or other bad decisions. The credit we ALL should give is the ability to pivot quickly on a bad choice. They have shown the ability to do that.
  14. Sneak? I believe you meant kick the motherfuging door in to the playoffs.
  15. Triangle and Triad both sound like they meet those needs. CLT is a fuging nightmare to get around(horribly behind in road infrastructure) but that wouldn't be an issue for telecommuting. Triad hasn't started to sprawl that badly. RDU is starting to sprawl in every direction. The hottest areas are probably North Raleigh/Wake Forest and Durham. Durham is especially growing. If you want access to RDU but outside the city limits, look at Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Garner and maybe out towards Clayton(Johnston Co. doesn't suit me but some like it).
  16. I tried to poop this post for effect but I am out of reactions for the day.
  17. I bet you can't even quote anything remotely coherent nor relevant statistically.
  18. I can't make you understand how stats work. Not within my power.
  19. Yeah, they were pushing Jordan pretty early on as having a nasty disposition in the run blocking game. Something we had been lacking inside.
  20. But but but but.....the OL is the problem! We just need to get him an OL! Who could possibly play well behind this OL?!!!
  21. Yep. I give the 4 Man Rush credit for pointing this out every week.
