  1. I would love to have Fitzmagic at this point, sadly.
  2. Well all classes are ultimately judged by hindsight. We are all also operating(or should be) under the assumption that the discussion of this class is a projection based on our own or others evaluations of it. It's a prediction, like all projections are. I am not writing them off but stating that I don't see many high caliber NFL prospects. With that being the case, I don't think I would take any of these guys before the bottom third of the 1st round and ideally 2nd round or lower. That's why I keep repeatedly saying I wouldn't touch one of these guys with our first round pick. It's a big reach, IMO. We are likely to be picking in range of the 1st that you just cannot afford to gamble or miss.
  3. Hartman and Pickett are both very good college QB's. In fact, the ACC was loaded with very good college QB's. Unfortunately not many of them are looking like very good NFL prospects. Maybe the Miami kid might be eventually.
  4. Trubisky was a one year wonder, Burrow was a one year wonder, etc. Technically Cam was a one year wonder. Pickett is the best the bunch to me. I still say he's probably a borderline 1st rounder. Just not a good class at all.
  5. I think the point is more this is how ill suited our staff is to having competent people on the team. Which, we are technically judging without any games played under him.
  6. Rhule scrambling to save his job. Hope Tepper doesn't buy it.
  7. Jackson's improvement in that area has been noticeable all season long. Too bad he is getting roasted in pass coverage the past 2-3 weeks.
  8. I would take Tomlin in a heartbeat but remember that Seifert was the winningest coach in NFL history from a legendary franchise when we hired him. Entirely possible neither Cowher nor Tomlin would be nearly as successful as non-Steelers coaches.
  9. I'd take...... 1. Kenny Pickett 2. Carson Strong 3. Matt Corrall 4. Sam Howell 5. Malik Willis 6. Resmond Ridder I haven't seen the WKU kid, so maybe he factors in. Pickett is a bottom half of the first, top of the 2nd guy, IMO. What a year we picked to not have QB figured out AND not have any Day 2 picks. Edit: Most of my list is actually interchangeable based on what a team wants. Any of those guys could be shuffled around, IMO. Not a big gap between them.
  10. That didn't age well. Also, FWIW, Sam Hartman's ceiling is probably a Day 3 pick. That was before his performance against Pitt.
  11. This is what I believe plays in Sean Payton's head when he sees Taysom The Golden Calf of Bristol.
  12. Martinook didn't look good. Hope it wasn't a tear.
  13. Cannot lost this game. I know the COVID has beaten us up....but we need this.
  14. Moore: Good Burns: Eh....leaning towards Good but not Great. Brown: Not Good. Just hasn't developed. Chinn: Good. I warned he might slump in the preseason as he adjusts to playing DB in the NFL. Keep in mind while he was supposedly all-world in 2020 that he was not that good in coverage. Anderson: Good but not as good as we paid him to be. Carter: Not good. Simply a backup level player. Snow: This is tough. Inclined to lean good but is the team laying down or is he the same as the rest of our staff and unable to adjust when opposing teams scheme well?
  15. Yep. Already prepping for it. Watch Tampa sit everyone the last game and we smoke them for the 6th.
