I mean....why would Tremble warrant anything BUT team friendly deal(which is literally just market value, TBH)? I think what you mean is, "I would like to see the Panthers NOT offer Tremble an Ian Thomas contract." BC is an interesting one. I think he will be worth far less on the open market than most Huddlers think. But, it only takes one team to change that.

I didn't see that at all. I am not saying this to disaparage Bryce but Dalton has more zip on most of his passes than Bryce. But he also generally has a stronger arm. Honestly the Plummer move definitely smells like prepping to tank. -
I would take solace in that were we not so many FO iterations into this nonsense. Hey, all he(and the FO) can do is prove my skepticism wrong. Let's hope they do. I am not one of these "fans" that come in here gloating when my negative opinions come true(which is far too often). I mention them because I am insanely frustrated that we laymen can all too often see some of the poo that these guys can't. It's infuriating.

The list of guys missing the game or questionable is wild. It definitely LOOKS like tanking, regardless of the intent.

A Tankathon Approach to the remaining Schedule

Pretty sure it cost Doug Pederson his job. That was basically the penalty. -

I would say that Chicago COULD be a hotter destination regardless depending on the coaching hire(s). Far more "win ready" team than we are on paper, for whatever that is worth. Honestly, I think our biggest hurdle is going to be the same as teams like the Jets, which is the reputation for overall organizational dysfunction. There is no question that winning is what helps improve that more than any other individual factor. Which, we were also able to get the best two guards on the market last year....by overpaying. But, I think even armchair/keyboard GM's know that isn't a sustainable model in the long term. -

Winning 2 games and losing 2 games is probably the difference in about 3-4 spots in position, if even that much. Also, it's less position than evaluation that is the problem. Gotta fix that first. -
The reality of the year and having lower expectations.

I am curious who is left on the active roster who hasn't played snaps or even started games. I will look at that after the game Sunday out of curiosity. -

Be the first man to be lifted up and thrown at a QB for a sack? -
I have consistently said it about him, 100%. The mis-timed jumps, turning the wrong way on a ball, drops, those are all issues with tracking(hand eye coordination). That is why I am concerned. It isn't things like, struggles to get off the line at this level or consistently can't get separation(he is actually slightly above average at this), it's the simplest things that he struggles with. I will be quite happy if he locks in and gets that remedied but if you are a Panthers fan, you can understand skeptisicm about that given our WR drafting history both in the past decade and in franchise history. That skepticism is founded in some very deep and persistent organizational scars at that position in relation to the draft. You are mistaking this as "fug THIS GUY." It's not that, it's.....

IDC at all about CFB but saw a bottom line score and was reminded to root for Boston College. fug Matt Rhule.

I mean, poo.....I think we have started a franchise record amount of PS players(would have to research that) this season. You want to start playing fans or cheerleaders??? -
I think Moton being out is going to REALLY show itself.

I mean the projected difference in draft position is really irrelevant, TBH. This is the first year sonce 2005 that 10+ teams could finished with 5 or less wins. In most years we would be solidly in the top 6 with a 4 win year. -
Sanders. Show the player you were before the scary injury. Coker, show you are the future AT.

It's annoying how little our draft position is impacted by going 0-2 versus 2-0. The logjam in the turd pile this year is nuts. -

I know what you mean. This injury news(even after Chuba) really took the wind out of my sails. I was hoping to finish out the season 2-0. The real kick in the balls(if we go 0-2) is that we would still end up in the latter half of the top 10 with a 4 win season. That would really be a typical Panthers turn of events. -

I wouldn't but a specific win total on next year's success but I don't think there are many scenarios where 5 wins is still on the right path. TBH, that's probably the start of another Tepper rebuilding cycle. I think this will be a critical offseason for Morgan and Canales. They have to build a more solid foundation for the franchise and show actual progress in the right direction. I think they have some more leash but I also doubt it's going to be a very long leash. Remember while Rhule was preaching the gospel of Jay-Z his NFL HC career was about 85% over(lasted a total of 7 games after that). IMO, progress needs to be very visible throughout next season or DC is gonna enter 2026 on a scalding hot seat. -
Last 2 Games: Let's See What We have on the Roster

This is a real pot and kettle moment for you. But, this is also your MO. Get offended and start losing your mind. Not surprising. Just another day on the Huddle. Lol. -
I guess he must have gotten banged up against Arizona. Or these just could be nagging injuries that they finally said "fug it" to.
-
I just saw him being listed as questionable as of Friday. I(and I guess a lot of people) must have missed that. Damn.

It's not all on Bryce in that regard. When our coaching staff goes heavy passing attack, across Dalton and Bryce, it is rarely a recipe for success. We just don't have the personnel for it. Our pass catchers lack elite talent and our OL is solid in pass blocking but dominant in run blocking. Without a credible run threat, the whole offense is substantially less capable. We just have to hope Boone and Blackshear can hit these holes that OL is making enough to keep the offensive playcallers from utterly abandoning the run or starting to get too gimmicky with the playcalling to compensate.
-
Honestly, I am not sure that is likely to happen minus Chuba. I suspect the coaching staff will compensate by going hardcore passing(60+%) over these last two contests and that is really not our identity as a team yet. IMO. I hope we at least see them battle like they did against Dallas versus some of the early season stompings. I also hope we don't kill all Bryce's momentum in these last two games. I won't lie, very nervous about these last two games now.
