    Allen doesn't take those kind of hits nearly as much anymore, though. He learned to avoid that more quickly than Cam did, unfortunately.

    The Eagles weakest link is actually their OC. He is overwhelmingly the weak link.

    I don't think it's a matter of him getting older, it's a matter of him just not being an elite QB. Cousins never made that leap. Matt Ryan didn't either. Didn't mean they weren't top 10 QB's for big parts of their careers but they just didn't have that next gear.

    Which is so insane in the first place. The idea it would be rigged AGAINST the Cowboys and also that a NY tragedy would be "made whole" by a championship by a team they all hate so much. Lol

    He is still a top 10-12 QB(if you start ranking them you will see how little that can mean). But he is still a second tier QB. He has not and will never be elite. He's in the Dak/Cousins/Matt Ryan tier. Capable of putting up elite numbers but never being truly elite.

    Goff has 100% of the time been a tier above Delhomme. Jake was great for us but he was rarely more than a middle of the pack NFL QB.

    This horse has been so insanely beaten it is ridiculous. We got rid of Chinn because he didn't fit here. Luvu got rid of himself because he didn't want to be here. If people want to pine after defenders that did want to stay but we let them go, pine after Hassan Reddick.

    I mean, no defense in the NFL lost what they have. It's unbelievable they won as many games as they did. If you ever wanted a better argument against Evero, it would be what Detroit did.

    Well, being stuck at a Jake Delhomme level isn't all bad(which Jake was really a tier 3 QB and Goff is a tier 2 QB). If we can get to being consistently winning/competitive that's at least a step in the right direction. I don't think we will ever see a Super Bowl appearance in the Tepper era.

    The people not accepting how terrible our roster is/was are just confounding to me. It was so insanely obvious before the season but those of us saying it got insane push back from everyone thinking we had a great draft and offseason. I could never understand that level of delusional optimism. It still remains the worst roster in franchise history. Always was going to be.

    I have not had that experience in the years being here, even attending the Lions vs. Panthers game in 2023. The Redskins fanbase has always been terrible, so it sucks to see them have success.

    I think most of these job searches are far less interesting than the sports media is implying. The likely candidate pools are fairly small for most of them. They just need to fill airwaves by drumming up horseshit like Johnson to the Raiders. Sanders to Dallas is probably similar.

    But those guys are very flavor of the month, if you skip too many cycles it will eventually get you. Not saying it will happen but it definitely could. Yeah, that definitely sounds like speculation.

    Yeah, I am from eastern NC. Nothing like a good morning swim at 90+ degrees every time you walk out the door. Lol. It's oppressive but I really do hate the cold so much. And I HATE snow.

    I am still a southern guy so the summers here are great. I miss NC summer. Heat does not phase me at all. This slop and these subzero temps? No. Thank. You.
