  1. As for Fields, that is probably precisely the type of player that Reich could potentially develop into being a top QB in the NFL. Fields has all the raw, physical materials that you could possibly want.
  2. TMJ got a little better under Wilks because he actually got playing time. Ultimately he played like a 4th or 5th string WR, which would be fine if not for where we drafted him and what we gave up. He still wasn't very consistent and I don't think he is a guy that will ever blossom into an elite WR. That's one of those "you have it or you don't" kind of traits. In the end, we need some dramatic improvements in that WR corps, so drafting good prospects should definitely be on the table, if not a priority.
  3. It's the standard "running QB's aren't real QB's" crap that some of these dolts have been spewing since the days of prime Mike Vick. Just a bunch of fuging idiots who don't have any clue what they are seeing.
  4. I imagine they will improve to being better quality JAGs, which would be an improvement. Both guys that need to be largely riding the pine as we improve the overall roster.
  5. Damn. That is a lot of points allowed. 20+ ranking in 9 of 14 years. That's bad.
  6. It would be on brand for the Panthers to fug up a good thing in the kicking game. We do have an insane history of it in the post Kasey era.
  7. That's not even the right stat, he is a career 63.7% passer. I am not how that is being construed as a "bad passer." We just got rid of multiple bad passers. PJ Walker is a career 57.5% passer, Sam Darnold is a career 59.7% passer, Baker Mayfield is a career 61.4% passer. Josh Allen is a career 62.5% passer. Does he now stink too? I guess we don't want him either?
  8. Looked like more of a traditional North/South runner, as well. Didn't see much elite agility. Would like to see more tape of her in the passing game. Could be a 3rd down back.
  9. Ioannidis, TBD Darnold, N Bozeman, Y Foreman, Y Jansen, Y Pineiro, Y
  10. Mechanics started to break down during the run. Project player, IMO. Maybe take a look in the 5th round or later.
  11. Yeah that is a point by point checklist of what we DON'T have on the roster.
  12. And that our interest doesn't align with the franchise.
  13. Well Reich has never worked with a QB as bad as Darnold. Not to mention, if we want to be successful....why would we do that to our new head coach? Isn't part of the thought process here that he has helped middle or lower tier guys play better so imagine him with a really good QB?
  14. Interesting that the Huddle's #1(overwhelmingly) and #2 picks were not interviewed a second time.
  15. I don't think we should expect an Andy Reid type. Reid has been insanely successful no matter where he has been(only 7 of 24 seasons with less than 10 wins). It would be nice but that is a pretty crazy bar to hit.
  16. Not the guy I want to draft at all but Reich would be a guy that might be able to mold that clay from the current turd shape into a stud QB.
  17. Well that credit goes to a previous FO, thankfully.
  18. There are competent game managing QB's expected to be available in free agency, however. Why spend on an incompetent one?
  19. I sincerely hope our FO is smarter than to double down on an already awful decision.
  20. Yeah, Wilks would have been a feel good story had he crushed through the easy schedule and won 9-10 games on his way to playoff berth. Instead....it felt like the old Fox/Rivera days.
  21. Yeah, I mean it's fine. Not the big exciting splash but we hired the first offensive background head coach in NFL history. That is finally a change. Hopefully he puts together a very good staff. That should be the big benefit of him.
  22. Well, let's go down the list: Kafka, Steichen, Caldwell, Evero, Dorsey Caldwell seems unlikely. Steichen we will know if this drags into next week. So who of Kafka, Evero and Dorsey makes sense?
