Chris Simms: People have caught on to the Panthers offense.
jtm replied to Tbe's topic in Carolina Panthers
CMC changes everything and you'll see a different offense once he is back. Fortunately or unfortunately, during CMC's absence, Brady and Darnold have been exposed. -
Rapoport believes Watson will be traded before the deadline
jtm replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have no idea why any team would trade for Watson at this point. The NFL has not done its investigation and will not until the police complete their investigation. No way Watson doesn't end up on the exempt list. -
I’m not enjoying this either. However, I can see the talent and vision. Clearly Rhule rebuilt the D first, then offensive skill positions and OL will be last. Rhule and Fitterer gambled with the OL this year and this is a losing bet at this point but the year isn’t over. Ironically, the guards are the problem.
-
Every rebuild is painful bc you get much worse before you see improvement. Educated fans understand this. The Huddle does not.
-
Ha ha - this place is something. We are rebuilding with a bunch of college coaches and basically a rookie qb and we’re 3-3. This weak azz place is throwing in the towel.

Very Discouraged By Rhule and His Comments After the Game
jtm replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
Man, this place will turn on you in a heartbeat. A couple weeks ago Rhule and in on every deal Fitterer could do no wrong. I've said from day one that Rhule's investment in Bridgewater and his lack of investment in the OL was very very troubling. -
Former 2x Super Bowl winning player personnel guy on Panthers OL

Time to play Brown and put Christensen at LT. Can't get any worse. -
This and why is “in on every deal” Fitterer not catching flack for our college quality OL.
-
Im not a Darnold defender, but the WRs/TEs need to make a play and not drop critical passes.
-
Nothing like a good Huddle meltdown. Lol
-
I appreciate the honesty and perhaps Fitterer and Rhule didn't like any of the draft prospects (seems unlikely) and they couldn't get anyone to do a trade earlier (also seems unlikely). Not bashing Fitterer, but OL has been a HUGE oversight.
-
I've never understood why you'd put Moton at LT when he is elite at RT. At best, Moton will probably be an average to below average LT because this isn't his natural position. Let him continue being a stud RT. I'd try Christensen at LT b/c he certainly can't be any worse than what we've seen.

In on every deal except for OL. OL is going to be the achilles heel for this team.

I think Dallas is a better team without CMC on the field. That missed fumble by the refs was huge, but I hate blaming officials for losses.

Chuba Hubbard 11 Att 52 yards, 4.7 yards per carry

Anderson and Moore had some bad drops too. It happens and comparing any RB’s receiving skills to CMC is unfair. CMC is probably the best receiving RB to ever play football. -
Thursday games should be banned. Or only schedule teams to play Thursday games after a bye. Always terrible football and players bodies are not ready. I blame this more than turf.

I thought Snow was a terrible hire . . . clearly I was wrong. Our defense is legit.
-
Good write up and we all questioned what the coaches were thinking with this line and let’s hope Darnold and company can somehow overcome these deficiencies

Coaching made this game Closer then it should have been..
jtm replied to WOW!!'s topic in Carolina Panthers
Give it a rest and enjoy the win. Was yesterday perfect, no it wasn’t but the team balled out for the most part. -
Verity is the better play
-
And if he doesn't, this team likely won't win many games and he should be held accountable.
-
Smitty has always been entertaining and I'm glad he's mended things with the Panthers. It was an ugly exit on both sides.

The worst with a clean pocket, the worst in the red zone…

Who knows how Sam will do but he’s our guy for the time being and I’m pulling for him. if he doesn’t work out, this is a big second QB strike against our staff. Better hope Fields doesn’t go off. -
No way - Winston is the starter and this is gamesmanship
