Just a bad day all around. These games happen when you are building a young team

Canales is a good coach. Pinero and Hubbard lost this game.

Rookies always talk about how fast the NFL is and eventually the light bulb comes on and the game appears to slow down. I think this plus Bryce appears to have his swagger back is the reason for the change.
-
The offense isn't the problem at the moment and it will only improve once Coker and Sanders get back. This statement should be seen as a positive because no one would have uttered these words a month ago.

Bryce looks better for sure. Just be thankful Watson isn’t our QB and many here wanted him bad including our owner.

Pff be damned, it passes the eye test with the DL. Dear god we need to spend an entire draft on DE and DT. Honestly, I think our defense would be below average to average if we had a Brown healthy + another starting DE.
Bad teams are generally thin at most positions and it takes time to build the reserves. I think Morgan put a lot of stock in Wonnum producing and this has been a big disappointment. Brown and Shaq's injuries were significant and despite what us fans say, the defense is much better with Shaq on the field.

Coker, Legette, Sanders, and Brooks are going to be a lot of fun to watch the next couple of years and I hope they continue to develop. Just need to find a QB to get the ball to them.
-
A bad look for sure, but I think Moore tweaked something but he still should have finished the play. Moore doesn't seem to like Caleb and Caleb strikes me as the type of guy that when he misses a throw it is always someone else's fault.

I wish Mingo the best but possession receivers with questionable hands don't fare well in the NFL and I hope he pulls it together.

Makes zero sense to trade Bryce mid-season.

Mondays on the Huddle after a win or loss are always an overreaction and super entertaining.

I'd love to see this stat broken down by each team during the same time period. I bet some of the good teams aren't much better at drafting then the middle of the road teams but they make up for it in free agency.

They should bring him along very slowly to primarily get him ready for next year. This year is done and Chuba is playing fantastic.

The only thing worth watching these days is the growth of Legette, Coker, and Ja'Tavion Sanders. Hopefully we'll get to watch Brooks soon.

I don't even care any more and trade everyone. The Panthers can be the farm team for the rest of the NFL.
-
Geez, another awful trade where we give up a good player for peanuts. Maybe this team needs some fire in the locker room versus a bunch of nice guys that lose well.

If say the Panthers are offering 2 million per, and then a team like the cheifs or bills or houston offer the same.
Where is he signing?
The scenario could also be the Panthers or Browns or Giants. The Panthers can't continue to let every good player leave for draft picks.

Players do not give discounts as long as they can do better elsewhere. That's a fan idea that never happens.
Agree and my comment was why would he leave a sure thing if the money is comparable. I don't think there will be a many teams that won't to pay him a big contract but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

you are missing the point, if he is only going to cost 2 million why in the fug would he sign here?
No, I'm not missing the point. Players almost always have a preference for the team that drafted them as long as the money is comparable.

A. Why in the fug would he resign here
B quit giving rbs 2nd contracts
This isn't hard
I don't think he'll command that much money. If we can get him for a couple million a year and have this position locked up for the next several years, why wouldn't we do this.

And who else on this defense is going to do it? You've seen how they've played.
Anyone other than a rookie.

He's a rookie trying to play a MLB in the pros before he's ready. He has to set protections and the secondary. That's a tremendous ask with this defense wouldn't you think?
MLB doesn't have to set protections. They normally do, but it doesn't have to be the MLB.
-
If the Panthers trade Hubbard for draft picks I'm going to lose my mind. Hubbard will not be expensive to keep and the Panthers should lock him up.
-
I don't think we can trade Johnson and we are going to have to tag him unless he's a complete locker room mess. I doubt he's going to be a locker room problem because he knows he can't get paid with this rep that he already has. Without Johnson, we literally have no receiving threats and how are we going to develop any QB without receivers.

Has this game changed feelings about Young?
in Carolina Panthers

Entire team looked flat today. This loss is not just on Bryce.
