  1. From our NFL.com draft tracker page; notice anything?

Needs Analysis: The Panthers added veterans like CB Alan Ball, WR/KR Ted Ginn, Jr. and OT Michael Oher via free agency, but those players are more band-aids than solutions. The Panthers need more than serviceable tackle play to keep Cam Newton upright. Carolina should be able to find quality RB and WR help from this year's crop, and adding support to the secondary needs to happen.

  2. When first hearing about Alan Ball the CB I thought it may have been a different player than the former safety of Dallas but it's the same guy. I don't believe he will play safety for us but it's good to know he has experience at other positions and can play special teams.

I wonder if we automatically put Bene in the Slot or if we have Bene and Ball compete for the #2 corner spot?

From what I read, he's been bad at other positions. I'd expect him to compete for s starting spot.

  3.

NFL is expected to have announce a statement regarding free agent DE Greg Hardy by Thursday.

Hardy is expected to receive either a one- or two-game suspension from the league for his involvement in a domestic violence incident that was eventually settled out of court.

Clearly the biggest losers in this situation isn't Hardy, the NFL or his next team. It's the 2014 Carolina Panthers.

  4. You guys are fuging idiots. Ian Rapoport has 567,000 followers on Twitter. You think he really tweeted that out and it just so happened that the only people that saw it are tied directly to the Huddle? I have like 750 and I can't tweet something stupid without at least someone seeing it and bringing it back up. Also, the last part of the tweet was a dead giveaway it was fake. These NFL guys don't throw in little sensationalistic quotes in their tweets like that with the FO supposedly being "stunned".

Fake, 100% fake. There's not even anything fishy going on here. It's a loser with ZERO life that decided to photoshop that. There are easy Twitter-fake sites out there that will photoshop tweets for you instantly as soon as you type in whatever message you want under whatever Twitter handle. There's no conspiracy here. Move about your day.

If it was true, you wouldn't be seeing a few screenshots. You'd be seeing mass retweeting going on, deletion or not.
