  4. i doubt tepper will just sit under his blanket while the team burns around him. he seems like a guy who wants to see production, or you’re out. we’ll see how much patience he has over the next block of games. the team showed a lot of promise last year, but has gotten worse each game this year. if the current staff can turn this ship around now, they will have earned their paychecks.
  5. which one of these processes gets you to success faster? A. keep trying the same thing you know won’t work. B. Try new things, rejecting those that fail, until you get it right. which one do you want to do? which one is our current FO doing?

  11. sadly, this isn’t the worst thread we’ve seen on here this week
  12. you clearly didn’t read what i wrote, or maybe you did read it but you were distracted by your ADHD
  13. this is why i’d like to give him some more time, to see if he has a processing ceiling or if he just needs some experience with the system. maybe they tried to give him too much responsibility after just one off season. the limited/predictable play calling and change in offense seem to be tied to taking responsibility off of Sam. that’s a good sign for Rhule, as he is adjusting to what he has, and a potential problem for Sam. if he manages to catch on with more time and the playbook opens up again, great. if his capacity to process in live play tops out at meh, then we keep looking. he’s only has 6 games in the system, so it’s too early to say where is ceiling is. it’s also clear to see why the staff brought him in. he can make the throws, and they saw that. what they can’t know until they have time with him is if he can improve on the mental aspect.
  14. so, to be clear…you’re saying it’s sams fault the receivers aren’t getting separation.
