Dalton, 5 games starting - 19.4 PPG Bryce, 6 starts since coming back from being benched - 20.5 PPG So, he's been marginally better than our backup QB. And that's counting the shameless stat padding garbage-time TD with 3 seconds left, against backups playing prevent D, down 28-7 against the Broncos. Take that out and Bryce is averaging 19.3 PPG. Worse than Dalton with the same supporting cast. Yeah it's nice that he doesn't look like the worst QB in NFL history anymore, but seeing people doing backflips like he's arrived as this next great franchise QB is baffling.

This says more about how bad things have been under Tepper than any kind of ringing endorsement. I think that's where a lot of the fanbase is at now, slightly better than a complete dumpster fire is cause for celebration. Yeah, I like Sanders. Coker looks promising. Draft overall still pretty "meh" and underwhelming on the whole. Only looks good when you compare it to the complete disaster that Fitterer was.
-
Holes all up and down the roster and you want to use 3 picks to trade up in the 2nd to draft a RB. It's honestly a terrible pick even without him being injured, once you add in that he's coming off a major injury it's monumentally stupid. The team we were jumping ahead to draft him was the Cowboys and Jerry Jones senile "let me trade a 4th for Mingo" dumbass if that tells you anything.
-
Considering they promoted from within it's really not all that surprising. I believe they made some changes to the pro-scouting department, but college scouting remains unchanged from the Fitterer days AFAIK.

People really want to compare Herbert to BY. Even if you only look at the last 5 games where BY has played noticeably better you still get 8.1 AYA, 101 rating vs 6.3 AYA, 83 rating Yeah, it's nice that BY is no longer statistically the worst QB in modern NFL history, but can we not go full retard here.
-
Lions took several years of drafting really well to get where they are. Our GMs first draft is not looking so hot. First three picks got us a receiver that can't catch, a RB permanently on IR and a LBer that's bad at everything. Would be a lot easier to get excited for the future if we landed some young cornerstone players we could build around, but just not seeing it. Coker maybe? I don't know.

Uhhh yeah having a top OLine and a top RB means you don't have the worst supporting cast in the league. Are you okay? Jesus
-
Literally the #1 rated pass blocking OLine when Dalton has started #1 .... literally #1
-
No it's not arguable that this is the worst in the league. It's not even close. Just arguing semantics at this point because you know you're wrong.
-
Hurts honestly looked like complete ass today so I'm not sure saying BY played on that same level is the win people think it is.
-
You're the idiot saying this is the worst supporting cast in the league. Been a top 10 OLine all year long. Hubbard and Thielen balling out like crazy. You think that's the worst in the league you don't know shtt.
-
I've watched every game, try again.

Barely over 100 yards going into the final drive. Horrible INT that was a 10-14 point swing. Took us going for it on 4th down 5 separate times just to net 16 points. Good lord the bar for this dude is SO damn low lmao Thielen and Hubbard were balling out of their mind, defense played surprisingly well (or maybe it's just that Hurts is really THAT bad). Only reason this was even a game. BY made some good plays here and there, but still wildly inconsistent. At least he doesn't look Jimmy Clausen levels bad anymore, but still a far cry from a true franchise QB.
-
Going with McConkey and Frazier would have been so huge for this team. 3rd rounder LBer Wallace also looked like complete ass today. DMorgan's first 3 draft picks all looking pretty bad so far.
-
Thielen, Hunt, Hubbard all balling out today
-
lmao JUST BARELY MISSED IT COACH
-
Staring down the WR and a bad floating overthrow. Just an easy gift of an INT to the safety.
-
Panthers heard some dude bet 3 mill against them
-
They've got a top OLine, dominant running game, great TE/WR group and still bottom of the barrel in passing yards. Nobody left to even point fingers at
-
Cooper DJ has been one of the most impressive rookie CBs and Thielen is absolutely schooling him
-
Bowers is something special. Legit might already be the best TE in the league.
-
Raiders 4th round backup Aidan O'Connell: 340 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 116.4 passer rating
-
450 yards, 8 TDs, Taylor dumps Kelce and proposes to him at halftime, Huddle still complains about using a 2nd on a RB
-
Other games 11/17, got some good ones today
R0CKnR0LLA replied to LinvilleGorge's topic in Carolina Panthers
