  1. I believe that the vast majority of people only believe what they believe because of the shared beliefs of the culture they were born into and grew up in.

If you live in America and you’re Christian, that’s the main basis for your faith more than any personally held belief.

If you were born in and grew up in Egypt for example you’re far more likely to be Muslim for the same reasons.

and if you were born in Japan you would likely believe in Shintoism or Buddhism for yet again the same reasons already stated.

I was raised Christian, but i was far too large of a skeptic on everything, religion included and fell away from it as a result. Truthfully believing in any religion in my opinion requires a certain level of willful ignorance(faith). You question too much, and you’ll lose your faith.

take it for what you will. I could probably write a small book on this, but I’m sure most wouldn’t appreciate the views I hold on religion. of the worlds major religions, I like Buddhism the most as I’ve read more into it.  But as of right now, I consider myself an Agnostic borderline Atheist.

    1/2 acre no trees

Just saw your last post, not a bad choice, definitely better off getting John Deere’s from the dealer than Lowe’s. Always buy from the dealer on these when you can.

Thinking about getting riding lawn mower.  Any recommendations?  Should I use Lowe’s/Home Depot or local dealer?

I'm a dude that knows his mowers, how much yard are you cutting? 1/4 acre? 1/2 acre 1 acre? or more?

  4. Food for thought, everyone here thought Scott Fitterer was a slam dunk hire when we made it, he was a early favorite, and universally celebrated as the right guy when we hired him and we all know now how that turned out.

Dan Morgan is getting almost the opposite reaction, I myself will take a "hope for the best, but wait and see" approach. a negative "hot take" to just continue to poo on the panthers is easy low hanging fruit.

Also, back in the day Dan hung out at more than one huddle tailgate and brought pizza.

    This is a W day.

He used to own that pizza place that was super hard to get into around Stonecrest. It had decent pizza I remember, just a terrible location.

I've said for a while that the Dolphins are held back by Tua.

He simply doesn't have the arm strength you need in the modern NFL.

your perception doesn’t match reality, before you have anymore “hot takes” try looking up some facts. I’m not a fan of Tua or the Dolphins by any stretch, but your hot take is hilariously bad.

Mac Jones, Tua, Bryce, Jalen Hurts... all of them looking like flops. Mac is terrible, Bryce looked like the worst QB in the league, and Tua has one of the best amounts of talent in the league behind him and can't get anywhere in the playoffs.

We got fleeced by a school that repeatedly pumps out limited prospects

Tua and Hurst aren’t flops. That’s just a silly statement

I wanted Stroud but I'm an OSU guy and he just looked like he had a better cannon. Ultimately tho, these threads are too frequent and frankly, are stupid. Revisionist history won't get us any closer to not being the worst team in the league. Time to accept the hand we have dealt ourselves.

I'll root for the Texans tho, they are fun to watch.

It ain’t revisionist history from me, you can deep dive my post to pre-draft last year, also made a few topics about it when I thought we were gonna go for stroud. So disappointed as a fan I can’t even begin to explain. To me Stroud was clearly better and clearly the choice. He’s the one you had to make the least amount of excuses for

  9. I was huge on Stroud after the trade and was open about my disappointment with us going with Bryce pre-draft.

Now I never thought CJ would be this good, this soon. But I feel fully vindicated but also a painful topic because of what could have been.

Tepper owes the fans an apology for passing on Stroud. He was clearly the right choice pre-draft, he was the one who you had to do the least amount of question marks and excuses for. So stupid.

SOOOO many people on this site were adamant he wasn't a #1 WR lol

I dont know about 'SOOO" many, probably more like 1-2 vocal people.  Many people here, myself included were upset that we traded him. I actually dont even recall anyone saying he wasnt a #1 WR.

Harbaugh can't just jump ship to the NFL that easily. When the NCAA hands down sanctions against Harbaugh, it will likely be honored by the NFL as well. We certainly don't want someone with these dark clouds hanging over his head whose availability is up in the air.

NFL isnt gonna give a flying fug about NCAA sanctions, they never have and never will.

I do want us to get Harbaugh, but he isn’t coming here

I wish the Broncos the worst and only the worst. I hope they don't see the playoffs for more than a decade.

Still mad about our first game after the Super Bowl. I wish nothing but an unholy level of the bad luck greater than the combined bad luck of the browns and the lions upon them for that. They deserve it!

  13. Not trying to clip this narrative too much, Scott has done plenty to deserve to be fired and hopefully will be.

the reason nobody was interested in Lamar was because nobody believed he was actually gonna leave the Ravens, and didn’t bother wasting time to negotiate.

Jackson not coming to Carolina really isn’t his fault, because it was never gonna happen to begin with.

trading McCaffrey for peanuts tho is reason enough to fire him, not counting his other blunders

  14. Probably at the end of the season. Not much reason to fire a GM right now, because you can’t hire anyone at the moment and will only have a vacant spot.

The billion dollar question I want answered is who picked Bryce Young over CJ Stroud? If it really was Tepper meddling, ain’t much we can do, but anyone associated with this decision deserves to be fired.
