  1. Happy Memorial Day weekend, guys! Hope all is well. A little weekend listening for y’all:
  2. Hey guys. Billy and I have a new one out for you. A few weeks back, Matt Bowen joined us. (Matt is a good dude. Smart. He’s coming back on again next week.) Today, his cohost on ESPN NFL Matchup, Greg Cosell, spent some time with us. Greg is a tremendous analyst, and did a nice job breaking down Carolina’s draft class + Darnold. On the back end of the show, we discussed the 2021 schedule, and some of the nuances we found interesting. Hope you guys enjoy!
  3. Just a quick vid. Hope y’all enjoy.
  4. Thank you...and I love it.
  5. I love this place. Twitter is kind of my main hub right now. It’s a constant stream of panthers content LOL. Stop on by anytime. Appreciate the kind words man.
  6. Of all the things I’ve done in my life, I might be proudest of this LOL.
  7. What a night. We recapped it after midnight if you’re interested:
  8. Yep. They were enamored with the idea of locking down half the field while generating pressure with what is suddenly a very good pass rushing front. Very much the Seattle model. Justin was considered, but trade back was considered more, from what I hear.
  9. Hey guys. Hope y’all are enjoying the draft. (I posted this on the draft board, you’re welcome to delete that one. Meant to post this here.) I had a pretty good sense last week that Horn might be their guy, talking to a few people who evaluate around the league. Just to give you some perspective: a league scout told me last week that he viewed Surtain very much like Bradberry, similar traits. Not as dynamic athletically, but quite good. Farley was their CB1 for a while, until the back stuff came up. Horn was always viewed as the the guy with “the highest ceiling of all the CB’s and a day one producer.” They think he can erase things on the perimeter. Man/zone. Fearless in run support, needs a little work on technique. I was told, unequivocally, that Mac Jones was never going to be taken at 8. This is from somebody who would know. Again, I’m not telling you to love or hate the pick, just giving you some perspective from folks I’ve talked to. Keep an eye on safety and tackle today. Trading back for more picks is still on their radar, too.

Trading back was very much in the conversation, as well. I was told, unequivocally, that Mac Jones was never going to be taken at 8. This is from somebody who would know. 11. Good signing. Durable and consistent. Flashes of brilliance at times. How you win:
  12. I was replying to a fan, but I do think Pitts is high on their radar, and I don’t think it’s unreasonable that he falls. Anything can happen. If he’s on the board, I think they seriously consider taking him.
  13. What a pair. Glad they’re coming home.
  14. One of my favorite TD plays. Tough as nails.
