I agree that playing with Slavin makes any defenseman look better and have better stats, but I still stand by the fact you don't even think about plugging in an AHL d-man for someone who has played the entire year during the playoffs unless it is due to injury. I am looking at this year's run as a bonus because I did not think that the Canes would win a series in the playoffs. Knocking NJ out and hopefully the Crapitals is gravy!

Old Stanky fits on the Canes better than he did on Dallas. He'll get more time and can possibly have a 2C ceiling if he keeps getting better/gets confidence. He has a coach that can give him the confidence.

Yeah, whatever happened to "team before self?" I'd rather have Cups, but more and more these guys want the $$$ and to win the championships. Mikko won't find it with Dallas this year, he found it with the Avs because they had Makar on a rookie contract. Anyways, I love the Canes...nothing changes that and despite the hate RBA gets I'd rather have him on our bench than basically all but 2 other current NHL coaches.

Evero doesn't have the personnel to even think about playing the kind of schemes he'd probably want to. The defense was pretty solid last year, so much so a lot of Panthers' fans thought he should get serious consideration for the HC position. We are so damn fickle around here.

How do you explain Drew Brees then? He didn't wear heels when he played. Having talent around you and the confidence you can stay in the pocket and have time to throw the ball does wonders for a QB. Young has never had that. What you've said is true, he does bail and goes the wrong way at times but if you've been put on your butt as much as he has with terrible protection I dare say most of us would do the same. I am not saying Young is a franchise QB, but I believe our Front Office, Coaching, and Tepper have basically ruined him for being worth anything to the Panthers. A different team, FO, coaching staff and I think some crow might be eaten, whether that's people who don't think he's worth one cent or me!

This was a good breakdown from Daniels. Last year has had a lasting impact on Young. He still isn't getting the time needed from the OL - the OL we have is made to establish the run and for the run to be in play. We get behind and have to throw all game we are doomed with this O-line. His receivers have to catch the ball when he makes a good throw to them, he can't have them dropping his good passes. Why are we running 4 slants all toward the same direction? Why a triple option on 4th and 1? That's on the coaches. Bryce gets hurried and starts slinging the ball where it shouldn't be thrown, more study and recognition from him are needed. Bryce doesn't step up in the pocket and throws too soon and unbalanced. He over and under throws the ball because of it. That's on him. If the pocket isn't there and he can't get his base set he needs to check down or "live to fight another day." He has been thrown to the wolves and has lost his confidence. This team doesn't have much, if any, talent and it's a cluster. I think he can still be an NFL QB. Maybe not a QB1 in the short term, but if he has a chance with better coaching and personnel he may be better than we are giving him credit for. I think we ruined him last year and have not fixed anything to help him this year. If we can't run or get way behind all NFL defenses are coming after him. Dalton has more respect and defenses didn't always sell out to get to him because he'd hit a quick slant, screen, or check down because he has the experience to know what's coming and what to do. Just my 2 cents.

Roslovic and Robinson fit this team really well.....Tulsky analysis has been good so far. Also, don't want to disregard Carrier and Ghost who are also playing well. If anything concerns me about the team its the D. Ghost may be the second coming of a responsible Dougie Hamilton, but he hasn't been great defensively historically. Orlov is....well an aging Orlov. I almost wonder if Koochie needs to see a few more pucks during games. I think our system is so adept at not allowing many SOGs that our goalies get bored and start thinking about hitting the clubs after the games.

If we can even get a 5th rounder for him...do it. Trade Sanders for whatever you can. Trade Mingo for whatever you can. Don't re-sign Ian Thomas to a stupid contract. Not sure what else we have that is tradeable. Keep a healthy Horn, move Ekwonu to guard where he belongs. Build around the ground game and improve the defense and draft a QB that the rest of the league would.

This may be the worst roster ever assembled in modern NFL history, especially when you consider injuries and everything. We are in very rare air here. Damn, Tepper and Fitterman really fugged us up good.

Young is not a QB1 in the NFL, Young is not a QB1 in the NFL, Young is not a QB1 in the NFL Young *may* be a QB2 in the NFL...it is questionable. This is the worst Panthers team in history, worst offense, worst defense, maybe 3-5 players that would start on another NFL team. Wow.
