Canes are playing sloppy so far and mistakes have given the Preds their goals, but no way you can blame anyone but Ned for that 2nd goal. He just didn't cover the puck up.....not what we have come to expect from him.

Refs did all they could for them and it still took 2OTs. Ned has to be aware his poke check and handling the puck is becoming well known by Nashville and the rest of the teams in the NHL. He needs to tone it down a bit.

The other freaking head scratching non-call: on Staal....he was mugged trying to get a shot off. So many examples in OT where I hear "oh the refs are letting them play."

It definitely was called on us and WTF when Ned had the puck but clearly was going to play it? They blew the whistle right away...

Yeah definitely allowing the Preds to play as physical as they want to while watching for any small chance to call a penalty on the Canes. The NHL has already had to fire and ban one ref for blatantly being biased this year, I guess these refs are keeping their mouths shut.

This....Nashville's whole strategy is to get under the Canes skin and try to bully us. There have been some calls that could have been made with how the Preds are playing. Anyways we know what the deal is. Let's go Canes!!

Agreed about any series vs. Boston, Pittsburgh or Tampa Bay with regard to the refs. I don't see it as much with the Leafs, but put into a potential series with them to go to the Cup Finals and the refs probably do tilt to Toronto. Basically the Canes need to leave no doubt about who is going to win by playing timid, passive aggressive hockey. If we go out there and play our game then the refs can't decide it....
