I can't wrap my mind around the fact that you and so many others, feel Fields is such a better prospect, and even say stupid poo like you believe in Fields over Darnold. I get ya like the kid. That doesn't make him a better prospect. There is a lot to like about Darnold. I'm not sure that you can even envision how prolific our 9ffense can be with Darnold. You certainly don't act like ya even want to give him the opportunity. You'd rather draft the 3rd, 4th, 5th best qb in this draft and hope he plays better. That just fuging ignorant. This team needs to continue to be built. If Darnold doesn't step up and shine in this offense, it's not even close to being the end of the world. The team will just insert another QB. FIELDS is so far from a sure thing, i didn't want our team touching him. Anyways, time to move on.

Love the hook...not. Anyways, the Panthers brass obviously felt Darnold is a better player than Fields. Doesn't matter if you agree or not. - seriously. Horn was the best at his position in the draft. Fills a huge hole on our young defense. Our defense got a whole.lot better, from the back to the front. This is a huge win.

Typically any top 10 pick should be a daynone starter. Thus isn't news.

I think it's clear they wanted Sewell. They had zero interest with fields, thank God. They just improved the weakest part of our defense. That is a win!

I love the draft. While I have my preference on who we get, the team doesn't employ me to make those decisions (probably a good idea lol). I may not always agree with the decision, but I always pray they succeed, as it's in my team's best interest.

I don't think we'll get a dancing partner to trade back. Only the Pat's would.make sense, and they have zero ties/relationships with our front office. They honestly don't need us to trade up. They can easily trade right in front of us.

Gotta stop drives/get turnovers, and gotta sustain drives. This is absolutely what killed us last season. Losing CMC was big. Davis played as well as we could have hoped, but it just isn't the same. Defense was just young. Improve those issues, and our competitive group becomes much harder to beat.

I tried reading through this thread. After page 3, I'm done reading the criminal takes on our option "D" QB that at best will be a "journeyman". There is no way that 5 QBs from this draft are going to work out. I'd be impressed if 2 of them are still starting beyond their rookie deals. I'll take Darnold over any QB that is available at 8.
