How do people not comprehend that a #1 overall who needs "fixing", is a lost cause. Tepper is simply trying to save his face and ego.

I remember playing Madden 99 or 00 when it was still mainly on PC. I got matched up with this dude named Danimal or something. Said he was Dan Morgan. Of course I didn't believe him. We never played the game. Dude proceeded to talk to me in chat for an hour and a half. He told me about the team, Deshaun Foster's knee, when everyone thought he was coming back., etc. One of the coolest people I have ever met. No cap. He would probably do well.

Yup. Weinke has it physically and between the ears. He is or was QB mentoring for a while. His failure to translate that to the league still baffles me.

Weinke was big.  With an arm.  I would wager you could add up all Clausen and Bryce's 20 yard downfield completions and Weinke might of had more than both added together as a rookie.  And Weinke was trash. 

I never expected much out of Collins. Weinke was the one that broke my heart. There is zero reason he shouldn't have had an awesome career. 

I watch this because this team gives me an excuse to drink, smoke, cheer and be wifeless, childless and employee'less for a short period of time every week. This season has me thinking about how many Sunday trips I'll be having with the family next season. JFC
