  1. The McCray signing was a good one due to his versatility along the offensive line while making an appealing option to fill in for Corbett or other players that may not be ready to start the season. Plus, a signing like this would give the offensive a lot of flexibility along the interior offensive line.
  2. If the report that he may have been withholding money is true, then Snyder will be long gone. However, in this day and time one has to take reports with a grain of salt until they are proved factual.
  3. D.J. Moore deserved to have played with better QB's here in Carolina and now that he is no longer a Panther they appear to be getting a good one. That fact alone would tend to make him respond in an unusual manner.
  4. Exactly!!! I cannot for the life of me see those two pounding the other team and wearing them down like Foreman could. I was hoping the Panthers would resign Foreman to add power to the Sanders/Hubbard backfield but I sadly realize that money is tight and the Panthers have lots of other holes to fill.
  5. The Packers actually have a ton of leverage because of Rodgers' cap hit, and the fact that free agency is ongoing. If the Packers wait until June to offload him, the 2023 cap hit almost gets cut in half And the Jets can't afford to wait until then. They need to have a QB locked up so they know what they have left in the budget. The Packers can keep Rodgers or watch him retire. The Jets are in a 'win now' mode. The pressure is entirely on the Jets.
  6. I share your pain but even the so called expects often find it is a hit and miss when they make their bold predictions.
  7. Adam Schefter will probably go back and forth on his prediction between Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud from one week to the next. I am still holding firm in my belief the Panthers select C.J. Stroud because he is the type QB that Reich has always liked. However, if I am wrong, i will not be disappointed with the selection of Bryce Young. C.J. Stroud and Bryce Young are both potential franchise QB's, so it's a win-win, regardless of which one they chose.
  8. Tepper by his own admission and to his credit, did admit he made a big mistake in that regard, one I seriously doubt he will make again
  9. I am leaning toward C.J. Stroud as the favorite because he not only checks the boxes but is Reich's type of QB to scheme around. However, if the Panthers decide to select Bryce Young a great QB in his own right, I will not be disappointed with the selection.
  10. I agree. That would be like having "Double Trouble" as running backs again.
  11. I was really surprised the players voted not to play in the NIT. It would have been a good experience for them and helped to erase the memory of a not so good season.
  12. Getting the WR cleared up is my main concern. Hopefully, the Panthers are able to pull some rabbits (WR's) out of the hat sooner, rather than later. It's not like there are that many obtainable ones out there to select from.
  13. Something that has been lacking as far back as I can remember and I've been a Panthers fan from day one.
  14. Signing TE Hayden Hurst was a giant start in improving the TE situation but I would still like to see it cleaned up even more by getting shed of some of the remaining dead wood.
  15. The signing of P.J. Walker is a move that might signal the end for last year’s backup quarterback, Trevor Siemian, who originally signed a two-year deal with the Bears. The Bears can cut Siemian and save roughly $2 million against the cap, which would make sense now that Walker is in town.
  16. With Sanders in the mix, it’ll be interesting to see how the Panthers handle the free agency of D’Onta Foreman, who led the team in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns last season. Foreman has yet to agree to terms with another team, and he could still be viewed as a worthwhile complement to Sanders this season.
  17. Talk about being ones worst enemy.J alen Carter once had the world by the tail and now it looks like he's blowing it.
  18. That's what I am thinking and I could not blame him.
  19. The Packers have lost their mind if they think a team would be stupid enough to give them two first rd draft choices.
  20. Probably had a bad case of the heartburn to go with it. LOL
  21. Hmmmmm!!! Looks like Tampa Bay wants to finish this season low enough to draft a future franchise quarterback.
  22. I like tight end Hayden Hurst, just hope he proves worthy of the three-year, $21.75 million contract with $13 million fully guaranteed at signing.
