  1. Like I tend to think I'm one of those people who tempers my disappointment. Football is a crazy sport and we don't always know what the coaching staff is looking for. I didn't expect three 80 yard TD drives in the first quarter or something. But seeing how badly the OL got whipped after all the cap space and draft picks we've dumped into them (granted with Damien Lewis sitting but they shouldn't look that bad), zero push in the run game, Bryce Young looking as indecisive and flat as ever, and basically the 2nd team on down looking like they've never played football before, it's very hard to draw any positives from this game. It's more likely than not that, after seeing this exact thing play out over and over again, this is just what we are as a franchise.
  2. If you asked me to call it right now I think we're a 1-4 win team.
  3. I was way more impressed when I saw it live, I misjudged where they were on the field and thought it was more like a 58-59 yarder. Nope, 52.
  4. We basically hadn't done anything until Jack Plummer came in and the backups started to trickle out onto the field from the Texans. The literal highlight from the starters, if you can even call it that, was Sanders dropping a dime that hit him in the hands for a first down.
  5. TMac would have had to make a highlight reel like circus catch to haul that pass in back in the first quarter. He was badly overthrown.
  6. Him not making the final 53 is some stupid poo this franchise would do, isn't it.
  7. This is why I'm giving less of a poo about the preseason with every passing year. We have nobody exciting down the depth chart, and after the starters are done we just get pummeled on both sides of the ball. It's boring and depressing. A family member had tickets to the game against the Browns and it was literally the first time in my life I've turned down a chance to see a game in person. No regrets.
  8. It's one thing to see a team that's not very good but is scrappy and plays hard. We look like we're just looking forward to the peanuts and ginger ale on the flight back to Charlotte.
  9. yeah MS Word is giving you an error message the minute you try to open that file.
  10. @kass have to give you props spending your Saturday night watching this trash. That's a true fan right there.
  11. Steve Smith Sr.: "You have to look at this as data, no emotions" The data doesn't look good either my man.
  12. Probably didn't want to risk a pick six or some other disaster that would destroy Young's confidence. Guess we're saving that for the week one ass whupping Jacksonville is going to put on us.
  13. We look like the vintage 2023 edition of the Panthers. Bryce threw a horrible wounded duck INT on a free play, a ball hit JT Sanders in the hands and just bounced off, Houston currently driving the field and going for it on 4th down inside our 10 edit: Stroud with a pitch and catch touchdown
