LOL…added to the deal for Mark from the Suns is Vasilije Micic. We barely missed you dog! How ridiculous
-
It really does feel that way. It’s eerie how much we help other teams.

OKC takes a steal here…their GM is a fuggin genius

More… Per ESPN's Shams Charania, the Charlotte Hornets traded Williams to the Phoenix Suns for the No. 29 pick in Wednesday's draft and a 2029 first-rounder. Charania added that the 2029 first-round pick will be the least favorable of Cleveland, Utah, and Minnesota's picks and will be top-five protected. Basically gave him away lol I think he is due an extension and no way we where paying him

Maluach traded Edit…error my bad. Suns get Mark and Maluach. Damn
-
Hornets trading Mark Williams to the Suns. 29th pick and a future 1st. The first is in 2029. They hate Mark.

We couldn’t pick VJ he was picked at 3. Keep up

Last 3 all ballers…thanks for the post

Shut up bum nobody cares what you think
-
Wrong, disagree. Ace had too many questions. This is a great pick
-
I like the pick…he is very solid all over and this is definitely not a reach. He is very much what we needed with VJ gone. Amazing shooter but he good handle and really doesn’t have a weakness except pure athleticism. We need hard hat guys and he has a high floor.
-
I think take Maluach. That is why they want to move down if VJ is gone.
-
I have been watching these guys for a while now and I like Kon, VJ and also Tre for that matter. But I put on Ace Bailey it’s a different level. That dude can easily be the best player out of this draft. His upside is ridiculous. His shot making at that size is nuts. Put him at the 2 or 3 and he will have growing pains but whatever. I think he can be great and it won’t take long.
-
I am fine with either personally, hope this is the way it goes. Passing on Bailey if he is there is really risky with his ridiculous upside but the Hornets need high floor guys that can play now

He was at Julius Peppers draft gathering in BOA when he was drafted. Met him but he was an ahole then

Really feels like the culture with the team has improved so much the last few years. Very good sign IMO.

Hornets Screwed in NBA Draft Lottey...Again
Shocker replied to chknwing's topic in Charlotte Hornets
Although I completely agree about the Hornets front office that doesn’t change the fact that the draft lottery is a farce -
The roster when Carolina was a contender, entering the 2015 season

Hornets Screwed in NBA Draft Lottey...Again
Shocker replied to chknwing's topic in Charlotte Hornets
I am researching this lottery scientifically to see the odds of all these “better” teams moving up. I am adding how the NBA benefits from said team moving up. First…there is no draft at all since the lottery that hasn’t had questionable results. None. In years where the top pick was clearly not a franchise player things went to plan. The odds that Dallas, San Antonio and Philly get top 3 picks is nearly impossible. The top 3 teams had 42 % chance to get the top pick. None of them got the top pick. That is nearly impossible. Lets not even go deeper cuz there is much more here but when you couple this with the real world scenarios we are talking about they is no way statistic that LeBron goes to Cleveland, Rose to the Bulls etc. I am really starting to see a pattern where the teams are actually in on it which is disturbing. The Hornets/ Bobcats have actually helped other teams via the draft more than any team.
