Let's play "I could be a better GM than Scott Fitterer"
Waldo replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
All of his trades. Even the Gilmore one was ill advised in that situation and then they let him walk. His trading away players and ending up with less talented players with the draft capital has been an issue. His free agents this year, Bell looks like the bright spot there. His contracts are usually awful. Moore's was solid but lol Player evaluations are way off across the board. CB depth, Oline depth and holy crap the switch to the new scheme with the same people is looking crazy bad. I'm sure there is more I just can't think of it after all of that list. -
Where there is smoke there is usually fire. Also, this guys co-worker is the David Newton? I didn't think people still watched ESPN. Man I am out of the BS loop these days.
-
Maybe both. McD seems smart enough to not create ammo but I am way too checked out to say. Then again Frank with ammo isn't much of a threat.
-
Lol because they always say terrible things about opposing players before games. Let's see what is dial up for Bryce in game and that will tell you what he really thinks about him.

A host on Lions flagship radio proposes Williams + first for Burns
Waldo replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't trust their talent evaluation so just take draft capital and pray it's different people picking is the best option with Burns now. Adding an unreliable WR just sounds like another meh move. If they can't do something good then just don't do anything on that front. -
Tepper and his soccer facility so glad he is ‘excited’

Would you find the Panthers going 0-17 funny?
Waldo replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
If you are not laughing at this then you are probably going insane. Anything Panther related should probibly come with a mental health warning lable until some big changes are made and take hold. -
It stinks but it is also expected. Juedy is such a desperation type move.

Chinn has been wasted here. Nothing about Juedy excites me but Chinn is either wasted here or not as good as I hoped.

Does Bryce really require any more that other QBs for success?
Waldo replied to BrisbanePanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
If I am chasing fantasies that is the one I could buy into. The teams answer in this reality to Newton's needs was taller receivers lol -
If you are going to prop up Bryce don't use Cam. It's the most obvious comparison for why Bryce is so obviously limited in talent. Use Jake or someone else not to play for the Panthers. How about Mac Jones?

Wait! Young wasn't who Scott and Frank told Tepper they wanted a week out from the draft like the fluff peice said? That's crazy. It's almost like all of this was planned and that a lot more went on behind the scenes that wasn't released to fans as the offical version? That's just crazy. No one has tried to pull that trick before. So all of those people questioning the PR stuff were not wearing tinfoil hats? But but it's in writing from an organization with a long history of quality and integrity that is so easy to trust at face value! /s WTF. Tepper has left nothing but scraps to fight over regarding the Panthers

Big sad. I miss thinking we could win any game on gameday. The AI stuff is insane and set to get out of control. I have no idea how long it will take but someone will be using made up AI stuff on the site sooner than later in not entertaining ways.

Does Bryce really require any more that other QBs for success?
Waldo replied to BrisbanePanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah success is not what people are talking about with Bryce, it's talent. Not stuff that can be coached up but just raw talent. It's not 'we lost because of Bryce' but 'Bryce looks horrible and limited.' He looks like the Little of QBs. Either way he is going to have to make something happen regardless of his limitations. Think whatever you want but if you can't understand why people are tearing into the pick or his ability in his play at this point then maybe the problem is you? All the offseason fluff is gone by now and his school games no longer matter. He has NFL tape and it is not good, him not the team. Either way he was the first picked QB and looks a lot worse than the other 2. It's all there really is to talk about given the situation so I have no idea how anyone thinks any of this is going to change unless he figures out how to overcome his own limitations. -
They can kick the Panthers teeth in on Sunday and that will not make me believe Tua will be 100% available in the playoffs any year. Dude had 3 concussions last year? They get to have all the regular season fun but I don't know if they can clinch a SB win even with that coaching. I hope it's an extra embarrassing game just so Tepper gets an extra week to stew in it. I have no idea how long it will take him to fall backwards into anything good.

If he has talent and value but not in their system then why is he still here?

Could Both Fitterer and Reich Be Safer Than We Think?
Waldo replied to tukafan21's topic in Carolina Panthers
As long as they can put up with and manipulate a boss who is angry and clueless they have a job. All the talk of change was pure hope until Tepper decides to realize how bad it is and he is absolutely a clueless clown still. Anyone could keep selling that idiot a hope of turning it around. I do wonder how he is going to like the hostile home crowd at 0-6. There is so much of this season left and it's looking so bad still. -
They are not playing great in this scheme and there are injuries but I believe Bryce's limitations make everyone look worse. It's the polar opposite of the 'Bryce isn't the problem' crowd. What he can't do list is incredibly long. No pro formations and only shotgun? Sure. No QB runs to soften the D? Sure. No deep passes connecting so no one respects the O and just stacks the box until prevent D time? Sure. It just keeps going. If he wants to benefit of the doubt then do something to earn that because just showing up was never enough.

Fitt was never a good hire and he turned out to be exactly what he was called out for and hid behind Rhule and Tepper. Maybe he is just a yes man or maybe he is wildly incompetent, either way he is not good and there is no solid justification for keeping him vs a long list of reasons to move away from him at any time. It shouldn't take 2 or 3 years to see positives from a rookie QB and there are a lot of bad play being blamed for the quality at that position. Fan how you want and believe what you want but that goes for everyone. There just is not much good to talk about and there isn't a change yet in the current direction so here we are. Everyone knew that after Rhule and Wilks they just had to be solid yet they have fallen on their faces completely.
-
QBs are so protected now, Bryce really doesn't run much anyways and he goes down if he is slightly touched. On the flip side every DC knows they can rush the speed from the outside and he wont step up or rush up the gut and he loses vision. No need for the kinds of hits Cam took for years so I'm not sure we will see one anytime soon with him. It just doesn't take that kind of effort to bring Bryce down.

Barnwell: Panthers have the slowest WR routes in the NFL
Waldo replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
The entire offensive scheme is a failure. Frank's time has past and he really hasn't done much the last 3 years except decline in quality. It can all be adjusted but he also does not belive in any of that. It's just incredibly difficult to say something poaitive about him or his product on game day.
