I would love for him to go to the Saints or Tampa. He could wreck Rhule for a year and then it's open season if we get a real coach, if not he can help get that fool fired too. Watson went 4-12 with the Texans in 2020 while putting up franchise QB numbers. Give it a year anywhere and it will start to fall apart. Huge cap number, wants input into coaching and offensive direction and is seeped in dysfunction...I am only worried if he comes here. I would so love to watch our defensive guys tee off on that guy.

One of the LTs failing is the only players I would stay at 6 for. Trade away. Just not players worth keeping.

I wish we could make Rhule have to roll with Sam and eat it. At least we would only be wasting 1 (fingers crossed) pick on any QBs this year. It really looks like a really bad class.

If we are so damn attractive then why did Stafford stiff-arm us out of a trade? Yes players do care about destination, at least the ones that have a choice. I don't know how much the 'lame duck HC' thing factors into it or even if how many of the players have the personal skills to manage their career that way (some of these guys are not the brightest), some not all is reasonable. I would imagine that the top shelf players that have better options wouldn't. We can overpay the guys who don't have better options or find guys who buy into what is being sold by the people in charge...like Sam who was both lol. This crap has been a thing way before Rhule was here, it's just worse now because we haven't won much in the last couple of years and the failure is growing. For a long time we built a niche image where it was a good place to play and live with a family but that is all dead now and not that all players wanted that when we had it.

Because we can and would likely overpay and some guys value money over wins. IE: the 2 duds we signed last year at the start of free agency.

We will see. No lie, I'm likely to do that guy dirty at every turn and not give AF if he comes here. People saying we automatically start winning with him here after a mega trade are in for a surprise. He had better coaching in Houston and the team is run about as well as their HC/GM stint...I would be shocked if this resulted in a winning stretch. It has epic fail all over it for us.

The one thing I would add is when a team implodes. Texans did it and are still in it. I think we are rushing towards one but that isn't official yet. The Phins tanked and it has done nothing for them with no end in sight.
