  1. I'm already a Panthers fan, that is low enough. Sorry, had to do it for a laugh.
  2. It's people's right to huff glue but it doesn't make it a good idea. Same people who said Baker was taking us to the playoffs because he did 1 year in Cleveland. Same people who said Rhule would turn it around in year three. Same people that are now saying that Wilks has earned the HC job. Desperation makes people lower their standards so far they lose all perspective. It's the meme where the clown is putting on makeup except they only can see the first and eventually the last picture.
  3. You saying hope with Darnold is as dumb as believing there was ever a tank. There was never any hope for this year once we retained Rhule and there won't be next year if Tepper is dumb enough to keep Wilks.
  4. Because if you look at it in context then it just looks like more dookie. Some nice throws with lots of dump offs. Plenty of time to throw and still a chump. Whatever, time will do it's thing and anyone with half a brain knows where this is going. Some people just like to be disappointed.
  5. People talking about Darnold after a weak game against another bottom dweller like he is now the future beyond this year. Under 60%, under 170 yards and under 20 attempts.
  6. Nope. I wanted to beat them and him. He was a large piece of the wanting to curb stomp them that we finally saw in the 2015 playoffs.
  7. Congrats to Burns. The trade was still a no brainer.
  8. But all of it 100% effects how the Panthers spend money. That is a huge chunk of change that can be spent elsewhere.
  9. It's pretty standard PR tactics. Get your name out there, get people talking about you and set the narrative that can carry you through the interview process. What 4 weeks of silence and then he does the PR blitz and bang now he has a new job. I never liked him either but this is just business as usually with the same crappy Rhule flavor to it all.
  10. He isn't a good guy or coach so I hope it's painfully hilarious for him after what he did here. Doing it at Nebraska kind of makes it all the funnier to me.
  11. So good he is getting the Commies to over .500 the first time in his 3 years by a game. It's the safe space of mediocrity where fans can still believe they can win a SB but the reality is your team is the one the other one is excited to play because they know exactly who you are and what you will do if you can find enough magic to make 1 appearance. 3 winning seasons and this might be his 4th in 12 years of coaching. Great! Nothing easy here except Tepper so maybe we can get a guy willing to dig in and do the dirty work of building a team up and not a guy looking for a vacant throne. No red flags there (/s)
  12. I'm over seeing anymore of that kind of football. I don't think it's good enough to win and it's beyond predictable and stale. I also don't like the idea trying of tie a new HC to Wilks at DC. Scaring off a great prospect because Wilks was part of the deal is an assbackwards way to operate. I hope he has put together enough work by the end of the year to get a good gig after this year, just not with us. Wilks is the kind of coach I wouldn't mind playing against twice a year. Tough but completely beatable, HC or DC.
  13. I'm not all that impressed with his work even at that level. Exposed is an understatement. That guy should put on a suit and go into sales. Snow should get the HC gig and hire Rhule to run his brand.
  14. I'm fine with a DE first if that is the way it falls but just sticking with Corral and putting the season all in that basket would be a huge red flag with the new crew. We would still have to bring in a vet and most likely still draft a QB at some point even if we didn't go with a QB with the top pick.
  15. As long as you stare into the unknown and avoid the known anything is possible...lol
  16. He is getting the tag and everyone knows it.
  17. Any fully guaranteed contract is an issue with a salary cap. It takes a lot options off the table from the start and marries a team to a player for a long time no matter what, which is a terrible idea in the NFL with the constant injuries. A non-fully guaranteed contract can be latter renegotiated and adjusted along the way. The only way that makes sense is if you do short contracts like 2 years otherwise it's a terrible deal for the team. I expect plenty of push and more moves like the Raven's being prepared to trade a quality QB away in his prime. They can get rid of the cap and be like Baseball, yuck. Not sure on NBA because I don't know much there. Any team taking on a long-term guaranteed contract of that size hasn't learned anything from the Watson and Russ mistakes.
  18. Yeah no. Russ and Watson prove why it's a terrible idea.
  19. And they both look like ginormous mistakes. I was wxpecting the tag but I don't expect him to budge until he test the market.
  20. Then they are 100% correct to move along. It's a terrible move with a salary cap.
