  1. I'm almost certain that anyone that buys an NFL franchise is a peice of poo human. It seems to be the standard. The ones that hide it look better but that's only because you can't see in their closet and the things they get up to when there are no cameras. Fug JR for who he really was even if he provided mediocre football that looks so competent at this point. Fug Tepper for taking so long to learn the most basic crap about how the NFL works and wasting another season. Fug all the owners.
  2. Lol no real surprise sadly. So let the boos and fire rhule chants begin. I hope they let him have it the entire 3 home game stretch.
  3. I miss good football so much. Holy crap we are on the level of a rookie HC in his 2nd game and Jones at QB.
  4. That is pretty unrealistic expectations for sure. I just hadn't seen that much here on that train to disappointment. Just hope of something better.
  5. His value on this team this year is likely to go down a lot more than up. Just wait to try until after the season and draft a QB regardless. He is likely on a path for another prove it deal next year if we don't do something silly like this.
  6. Most do not really see an easy fix they are just happy to see the ball get rolling of Rhule getting fired, maybe it's some of this or just what we see on the field. Turning it over to Wilks, Tabor and McAdoo should be a mercy at some point this season. That's good enough until we are talking about the new coaches.
  7. Those guys came in auditioning to reverse their career paths. It would not be surprising at all. Well that it only took week 1 for the damn to start to leak in a potential dump like this is a little surprising but not the rest.
  8. Sadly it is more interesting then their product on the field...it's that bad. I don't really think we can win any given week so watching Total Drama Island that Rhule and Snow put themselves on is about all that is left other than slowly watching Tepper from his box learning how the NFL works the hard way.
  9. It was only week 1. It's going to get a lot more interesting for him as the season drags on.
  10. That is a crazy list. Just saw it and wanted to see if any of it was true.
  11. I think the assumption we get to Jones is more hope than anything. Our pass rush last week was atrocious so it's hard for me to believe it exist until I see it. Daboll is too damn smart to not run it down Snow's throat. The O needs to set a realistic pace by running the ball early and get Baker in a much better situation than last week by working him into the game. Run then some playaction and then open it up if things are going smoothly. Keep it simple and balanced. Either team could just lay an egg in this one but I am guessing it will be a scrappy game from both teams.
  12. So if Rhule is losing enough that a firing is eminent and Tepper keeps him the entire year is that a form of Tanking? We have 3 coaches that have more experience than Snow and Rhule combined that could drag us through the rest of the year. What is the benefit of keeping Rhule 1 game past elimination? I would take an interim coach that is auditioning for his next job over a lame duck about to walk with his guaranteed money anyways. I get not firing him until later regardless but there is a point of why not? Like what benefit does Tepper get out of keeping Rhule past elimination if he is not coming back for year 4?
  13. Not until I see proof. I have seen none to date.
  14. I imagine the seat is somwwhat hot anyways. No idea what would be hot enough to move Tepper even if it is uncomfortable. 0-2? Not good for sure but certainly not enough. What happens at the 3 home games after that woukd be a much bigger deal. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a sacrificial firing made in that kind of situation. Not Snow but someone in a lame attempt to keep the peace and buy time. I hope it turns to lava however it happens. This is a winnable game but the season is long and I have zero faith in Rhule to right his ship.
  15. Well he was around when the 1st game ever was played so I expect he has seen them all.
  16. He has more in common with Teddy and Sam then Brees. Sam is by far the worst because I can't even see him as a backup at this point but Teddy and Baker can be good enough starters in the right settings, not ideal but sure can do a lot worse. I wouldn't say Baker is twice as good as Teddy, just better with no physical limitations that Teddy has and less injuries. None of them are good or great QBs. Baker is fine for this year but he has never shown anything that should stop us from upgrading if it is an option.
