  1. Good player but also needs coaches that can effectively use him and know when to not use him. That has never been us. I would be fine with a trade if we could get some draft assets for the new regime. I don't know if Tepper will allow it before the trade deadline this year because he is too clueless to make a move like this.
  2. Yeah I am with you on that one. I need to see a lot more before I could get behind Dorsey, like 2 more years of good production. He might get there but he isn't there yet.
  3. He appears to be a competent coach. He has shown more in 2 games with a very depleted team than Rhule has in more than 2 years. He made the most of a bad QB and propped up a thin D with decent play. They have a tough year infront of them and then he has to find a QB answer better than what he is stuck with currently. McDaniel walked into a much better situation overall. Both could fail on any of the things they will be dealing with as they move forward as the expectations raise for each but even if they do it wasn't a bad try like Rhule has been since the get go for us. They both appear NFL competent and it should be fun for their fans to watch them grow into their new roles.
  4. Watching DaBoll and McDaniel go on to establish themselves as competent HCs in 2 games vs year 3 of the pooshow we have going on here is beyond frustrating.
  5. I would be happy with a new GM but I see no good path for Tepper to hire one on his own, maybe hire a consultant to hold his hand? Just fire Suliman asap. That guy has done nothing but create a giant mess for no reason other than he wanted to show how smart he was. I don't want to see that guy involved at any level at this point. How you get this bad with the cap without a QB is mindboggling and indefensible.
  6. I think it is a coping mechanism so he doesn't blame himself or even acknowledge his poor play, everyone else is the problem kind of guy. The fact he is doing it this year pre-emptively is just going to make Sunday that much more brutal.
  7. Please be the Cowboys so they never win another SB
  8. I hate it for the guy but he can't see the field or do much outside of a broken play that looks good once in a while. He turns the ball over too much to be a backup and is now locked on to the dump off like Teddy was but with an actual functioning arm. Just put PJ out there, that guy still thinks he would be on another team once Rhule is fired so it's not like kicking a wounded animal. Pay me 19 million and I am showing up ready to be a rodeo clown for a season with a smile. He handled it all very well but I can't say someone with a guaranteed paycheck of that size is being brave vs practical with a great attitude about it all. Everyone with 1/4 of a brain knew Rhule couldn't ride into this year with any of those rookies or Sam again. Once they traded for Baker it should have been a blessing for him, competitor or not in this situation. I honestly feel for all the players. It is not going to get easier soon and I know not all of them are going to turn it around after the clean up but I do think many can with good coaching. I want to see that crowd chanting 'Fire Rhule' but it can't be fun for a players trying to hold together their careers.
  9. Wanting Sam to play again really makes me wonder if they watched any of his games last year. Poor guy was crying on the field. They just need to leave him on IR and let some idiot team try and play him next year. If Baker looks this bad in the new O then Sam is going to lose the game by the half.
  10. I will not listen to a word that POS is selling. I can't wait to hear the crowd this weekend.
  11. Ickey I get having those plays as a rookie but watching a player blow inside of Moton in the same game was concerning. I have no idea what is wrong with him but we need him to play decently. Injury report for week 2 had him down as knee but not on week 3's report yet. That is not great but it is a practice year so give him some rest and see what the next person has.
  12. Once we know the new schemes the new coaches want to use then trading is on the table. Maybe if we can't trade a player next year I wouldn't mind a strategic trade at this point but other than that just wait.
  13. He isn't competent enough to come up with a legitimate plan let alone the ability to make it happen.
  14. I never wanted him but he is better than that. We were never going to the playoffs with him but the O is run terribly. Rhule, McAdoo or Brady IDK WTF is going on but it is never good. Every QB has played worse here since Rhule got here. We were always going to need to keep drafting QBs until we got a good one but this is much worse than it should be.
  15. Pretty much. Felt longer as a teeneager in NC. With no Sunday Ticket it was watch what was on the local TV which was never the game I wanted to see which made it feel like 1988 to me.
  16. Flores or Leftwich for me please. As for rookies IDK until the draft. Im not looking at any and I don't care about their school games much. How do they project in the NFL and not the fluff and BS we hear every year with QBs from that level of play.
  17. Snow's D is a failure at this level. 4 sacks and zero turnovers. Not good.
  18. Moved there as a kid for 3 years. We were from NC so Braves, Browns and Cavs games were like an exotic spice we never had a chance to taste here in NC in the 80s. Lol Indians not Braves. Brain fart.
  19. Once the NFL is dead to me I am not watching or paying for any sport that a family member or friend isn't apart of the team. Moving the team would make the NFL dead to me. I watched the Browns move and never watched an NFL game until the Panthers came to NC.
  20. If I was a player and heard that BS I would have requested a trade immediately. No way I would have stayed longer than I had to under him as a coach.
  21. Each week will probably be worse for CMC until he breaks while being forced to carry his coaching staffs idiocies on his back.
  22. It is that simple. I don't know how any of his school coaching was considered overachieving unless you take the media's hype or Hurney's gut as good sources. Baylor was a weak school that beat nobodies, lost to any one good and had a bunch of players drafted that busted. Reddick was the only one that was a win that I can think of and Arizona did everything it could to not use him correctly. RA? Meh, ok player at best. As a non-GAF about what happens with school ball guy it really was never impressive to me on any level. It was all hype and no truth. Plenty of posters called it on here. It really is that simple. It happens in the NFL with players every draft and it happens with coaches also. Hell our coaching improvements this year include 2 that were overhyped as coaches, Wilks and McAdoo, that are now trying to salvage their careers from being overpromoted from BS hype and bad choices.
