Which matchup are you most looking forward to this Sunday
Waldo replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Rhule vs the crowd. Will this be the game the crowd chants 'Fire Rhule'? I will be asking myself that every home game this year. -
Let's get to the important part for Tepper. How much can he charge for doing this?
-
It's not Nixon washing out in his 2nd year that really bothers me, it's that Rhule opened his mouth and said something incredibly stupid yet again. Just say he wasn't a good fit and wish him luck. We can't even get a game in before this baffoon is at it again.
-
Don't leave Tepper out of that conversation.
-
I'm think we are going to see a lot of talent wasted by the DBs as teams are running it down our throat successfully again. I don't have any faith in Snow's scheme at the NFL level at this point. Next year could be great with a new scheme but what we saw last year is not good enough and we lost our best and most productive players on 2 levels. I really look forward to the coaching Wilks will give his unit this year. It could be huge moving forward.

More are starting to believe in the Panthers

Bigly Walterfootball Power Rankings drop
Waldo replied to janderson20vt's topic in Carolina Panthers
True. I was thinking more individually and long term than as a unit this year on improvement, BC and Ickey specifically. -
Never strickly but damn not a full time RB. Those are now cheaper then ever. Deebo is a great example...with CMC the imagination is really the limit. 30 clasic RB touches is really a disapointment at this point. McAdoo should do a lot better but it atill sounds more of the same done more competently. Anywhere he lines up healthy is a huge problem for the other team.
-
Ok, gotcha. Cheers and get some rest, it's a great weekend for it hopefully.

Bigly Walterfootball Power Rankings drop

Both lines look lopsided towards one or the other. Not great feels but at least the oline should improve with the yonger guys getting more reps throughout the year. -
Hope is not why I watch football. Hint, it's football. If you are in this for hope then there are a lot easier and higher return on that out there then you will find in sports.
-
But he wants to be a RB lol. Yeah we could have made that guys career twice as long and productive but nope, just run him like the freak he is until he is nothing more than a workout master sitting on IR.
-
All true but that should have happened years ago thus my expectations. RB that have a career and record type year that he had usually fall into ruin soon after. It's not just the millage but how fast they add it on in a short span that can speed that up. He would need to prove the exception which would be great just not expected by me at this point.
-
Yeah that would be why it may not be a possibility. RBs tend to break after a historic year like he had in that run.
-
Love the skillset, not how he has been used and how that has ended. I need to see a healthy year from him before I have hope going forward.
-
This is a game we should not lose given all the circumstances....I wouldn't put money on it tho
-
I don't care about his BS with the reporter or the drama, it's just more of the same. It is the fact you stated he backs it up and I gave 2 examples of him not backing it up as FACTS. That part. He is a trash talker and most do not back up their talk all the time, in the past there have been times he has not indeed backed it up.
-
Lol that proves everything...not the 10 wins over 2 years and ending weakly AF last year. On the bright side that guy is a lot more skilled than Rhule when it comes to PR so that is cool. Ohh and your name has another meaning so that is a LOT of fun lol

Does anyone else think we could win the South?
Waldo replied to Stuart Smith's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sure. Could happen if we had a time machine and went back to fire Rhule this year and hired a great staff. Even with any given Sunday applied I have a hard time beliveing this. It's like CMC staying healthy or the run D being able to stop the worst run teams in the league, it doesn't look good unfortunately. -
Go back and look at your original statment that I quoted twice and why I posted proof agaisnt it. You keep focusing on the Begals game that did disprove your statement and on the rest of the article that really is not relavant but not the 49ers link. The Browns didn’t care and it didn't help him keep his job there and that is part of how we got him on a big discount. His issues are a known quantity along with his upside. It's a package deal, it is who he is and always has been. It is also what this thread is literally about.
-
Would have been great to fire Rhule and taken advantage of how weak our division has become with good coaching. I would still be shocked if we could climb higher than 3rd this year. Maybe next year.
-
I was disproving your statement which was false and all you can do is deflect, avoid and then insult. Still avoiding the fact you were wrong? That's cool but it is still a fact now.
-
I know you are try to focus on the Browns vs Bengals record but that wasn't the point or really relevant.
-
I would be thrilled if he just brought in a partial owner that had any idea of what they were doing in the NFL...
