  1. The interviews I listened to pre-draft prep were really strong for Lance, that dude has it all he just needed better coaching. He has a better arm and size. I liked Lance's film more than Willis. I would vote on Lance 10 out of 10 times vs Willis but that is just me. Doesn't mean a damn thing until either does something worth talking about in the NFL tho. I still think it is BS that Lance won't start this year. I still think all that needing to sit another year stuff is just to keep Jimmy G's trade value up.
  2. More upside, better talent and better size...both need to sit a year and then it's learn or burn time.
  3. Saints really devaluing next years picks for this year with a 1st year HC. They are built to win now but they need a QB. Willis won't be ready this year and I would love to play Picket twice a year. Maybe Corral. I would think they are getting ready to make a trade for one instead but boy do I hope they draft one.
  4. LOL I hope Rhule is still sold. Go get that LT and try again lol. A healthy CMC...it's all too funny. Some people never learn but at least we can get that LT and still get rid of Rhule next year after Sam's first vet year where he is exactly the waste of talent at QB he has been since college. It would be hilarious if Rhule chose to do what I wanted forced upon him.
  5. Now do the other 30 owners and just turn the NFL into publicly traded teams and not 31 wealthy people playing with their profit toys.
  6. Yeah we went from a college OC to a meh NFL level OC. The good ones declined our interviews. We were left with McAdoo. His strength is supposedly QBs, no one says his offenses were impressive. When Coughlin was in charge he produced his best but that is Coughlin and not Rhule. He wasn't the OC of their SB run and his 2 OC years where the Manning / Beckham show and they still finished 3rd in their division. Meh.
  7. Cool but he isn't a QB coach but an OC here. Add in the Rhule factors and I still don't see the reason for any hype.
  8. It's pretty meh. An improvement from last year sure but I wouldn't use the words quality, good or exciting to describe this staff.
  9. I would agree but I would suspect he would just be wasting his first year of that rookie deal and still need to sit a year with a good staff which would be 2/5ths of his rookie contract. So we may have a QB in 3 years? Just draft a better prospect, for us, next year would be a better play conceptually.
  10. My real issues with Willis: Our 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks started no more than 3 games last season with incredibly weak competition and Willis needs a year at least to not start. It is just a bad fit for this crew and their mess. That dude has a solid shot of becoming a quality QB if he goes to a stable team with a strong coaching staff. None of that is us.
  11. All to just lose anyways....These people are mostly crap
  12. So you have to be in a changing room / bathroom to do an interview right after a game? Totally normal. I get the SB celebration pics and even the coach breakdowns with game balls but would 15 more minuets really be a bad thing to stick a mic in a players face? People are so weird.
  13. Nice, one QB without a brain and the other without an arm. Unless they both go into surgery together they are playing for 2nd in the NFC South this year.
  14. I would have picked Sam but not an option. It's the QB this staff deserves. I am not sold on this class of QBs, especially when you match them to our staff and situation. I also don't want to spend on Vets again after the last 2 years. I think Meh is restrained at this point in the 'process'.
  15. https://www.nfl.com/news/panthers-rb-christian-mccaffrey-out-for-season Nope, couldn't have played. It was considered a significant injury. Maybe in 2020 but he had already been injured twice by that point. Rhule is garbage and CMC is injury prone.
  16. He already did when he built the team around the D and the O around CMC.
