There is no good argument for bringing Rhule back, zero and no the ultimate tank for 2023 is not a good argument. It is just more failure to heap on top of the massive pile of failures of the last 4 years. He should have been fired when he traded for Darnold, that was enough to say GTFO. It's obvious he is a trash coach in the NFL, wasting another year is just braindead stupidity.

Except is is from PFF so it's basically watercooler talk level stuff. Hey my friend loves football and makes up grades, sometimes he is really close and now he gets paid to make stuff up. That is PFF, just something to talk about and is absolutely disputable. You are 100% right on this one but I wouldn't want Tepper basing big decisions off of PFF. I hope he doesn't even know it exists. I think the obvious crappy play from Rhule's guys proves enough. The OC thing is a disaster waiting to happen, Rhule will want to hire his person and Tepper might not have the ability to force it. His football skills are basically reduced to a sledgehammer in the shape of a bag of money. At least we get to laugh at it all.

Given their owner that is a very fitting name

Aren't the soldiers up in Chicago at their field? Are they going to oversee another team on game day? Isn't there a saying about too many captains on a ship? How about a pack of Generals with no soldiers? It's a fitting name for a shi$y organization with a shi$y owner.

Browns and Lions are tending up shockingly. It's us, the Jets and the Jags and there is no need to wait till next year, we have arrived this year.
-
They should have just kept it WTF. A team of Generals is very confusing. Does this promote the players to the same level as the coaches now?

Just wait until next year...

Brady's resume was incredibly green but also promising when we hired him. It was torpedoed by putting him with Rhule's guys and not at least one guy who would show him the ropes well before a game was ever called. I still think Brady makes it long term, he just needs more experience with a functional organization and not this pooshow. I don't know the dynamics but I think Rhule had more hands-on input this year when he had his 'guy' at QB and it started to turn bad in week 4. IDK how much where but some of that was on Brady before that, obviously not close to all of it. Maybe Brady will open up and let us know about his amazing time here with Rhule, that would be enlightening for sure. -
That is a lot of things going right when that is not how things have been going here. BC might be good enough but he isn't good enough to pass on another Slater. We would know for sure but Turdving has been out there when it's known how bad he is at LT. It's all so frustrating and just stupid football.

Rhule is like a Rivera without any of the experience. He wants to be that so bad but he can't even get it close to the zip code. Brady was just really green and should have had some old hands to help him but then again if Rhule did that he may have learned enough the 1st year to not implode in his the 2nd year. -

2010 got us Cam and winning where this year just got us another 2010 lol. It's like a failed tank IDK -

I'm not a JR fan but he learned some hard lessons. The two I mentioned changed the way the team was run top down. We used to show a video of shame to guys to let them know not to get on that video, that started after Carruth. He cared about PR for sure. He did put his people and ways above winning unfortunately. Hurney being here 14 years, 2010s huge list of missteps and failures and plenty more deserved criticisms. Meh, none of this will be perfect, I just hope Tepper gets better. If not, it's time to hind another hobby. -

Then it's time to walk away when this is confirmed IMO. What's the point? Anyone that has been in a really bad relationship knows how good being free from that wasted life really is. Keeping Rhule another year isn't enough confirmation of that, it's just a dumb move by someone that doesn't know what they are doing. -
Ownership down is where the differences are most important. They have a better run organization led by better and more knowledgeable ownership which has led to better and more knowledgeable key stafff positions. They have a better coach but he still underachieved with those rosters, still a huge improvement from us. Not at all going to prop up Big Ben Rapistburger, that guy is a terrible human. Fug cheering for a rapist. Just not worth it at all. He made a lot of this possible so big asterisk there. 15 winning rapey years.

Brady wasn't great but the other options were worse. That was just CYA for Rhule and now we have more confirmation on how bad this staff is at this level. -
The fact Rhule is fine with turning BC into an OG that couldn't pancake a LBer doesn't leave me with any hope for it being fixed.

I don't think we have as many 'football people' in house as some think. It's time for a house cleaning, Hurney left a giant turd and it had turds.

That's why I said it's a lesson to learn. I just don't think he understands any of that stuff so he has to experience it. After Collins JR changed the way he did QBs. After Carruth he looked at character. Hopefully Tepper GAF. -

Which raises the question, why bring back Rhule at all if you have to do that? -

Sounds like we are set up for an embarrassing and unproductive offseason. I can't imagine anyone competent would come here to work with and under Rhule. We also need a temp option because it really doesn't sound plausible to expect Rhule to finish the year as HC. What an ugly lesson Tepper is about to learn if he decides to really keep Rhule for another year. -
Their owner would love to move the team and looks like he is actually worse than Tepper, there hasn't been much learning from failure since he showed up. Bless those fans, I hope they can finally get a halfway decent GM down there to offset that idiot. Not a bad idea, I'm interested to see if they can get some attention to their cause.

I would be fine with Cam as the QB next year as the bridge QB we should have done 2 years ago. Unfortunately our staff tied themselves to Darnope so here we are. It's better for Cam anyways, I wouldn't wish this job on any player I actually liked or cared about. At this point Sam is the QB this crew of idiots deserves and I hope their careers chokes on it. He is awful and I'm not sure if he is better than PJ but that is the junk yard the Panthers have become. I would take a beat down Cam over the other 2 rejects any day this year if it wasn't already proven the he couldn't prop up this broken offense and that Rhule has no real respect for the better QB because he made his bed with a busted Sam.

The Bucs won't rest starters, will play to win
Waldo replied to LinvilleGorge's topic in Carolina Panthers
Great, now break Rhule's back in the last game and make it embarrassing. I miss caring about winning. At this point it's whatever it takes to clean house before anything else for me.
