    Exactly. Sanders is like Cam in his final years as a FA. Not good enough to start but too cocky and distracting to be a backup. There is just no upside to him on a team with an established starter.

    Most of the moves I’ve seen have been average GM moves. With that said, it takes 3 years to really know the results of a draft… …and we need multiple drafts to fix this team. I want to give Dan and Dave at least 3 more years. Not taking the bag off my avatar’s head until we see a winning season.

    These types of picks are pure front office ego. They dream of being the coach to ‘develop’ a raw player into something. They dream of being the GM who finds hidden gems everyone else overlooked. Rookie mistakes

    Most teams aren’t the eagles and chiefs, but I agree with your basic point. We’ve also spent a lot of time drafting guys for systems that are thrown out a year or so later when the coaching staff changes.
