I’m not complaining, just pointing out a tech issue. I did pay Jeremy $5/mo for years though. I don’t mind doing it again.

I assume he is self hosting this and not using invision hosting which includes auto updates. If he’s self hosting, updates cost $200. I don’t think the lack of updates is the issue though. This looks like problems from the ads, which is something we’ve seen before.

For at least a week I’ve noticed embeds haven’t been loading and I’m often unable to reply to threads because pages never finish loading. Im typically on a phone, and it’s happening on safari and chrome. It feels like a runaway JavaScript issue. Looking at the site on a desktop in dev mode, I’m seeing some serious issues. 10k+ warnings hundreds of errors. endless requests 100MB+ of data transferred . I don’t have time to dig but it’s pretty obvious that its the ad networks the site uses. Can this be fixed? @Zod

How would anyone know who the first read is supposed to be?

How? Doubt is doubt. Darnold - he’s not mentally capable to play at this level. Bryce - He’s not physical capable to play at this level. The narrative was wrong about Darnold and is probably wrong about Bryce.

Sure, they have the physical talent. But people doubted their mental ability to play at this level.

Everyone was questioning that. The narrative was that Darnold was too dumb to play in the league. Baker looked like he couldn’t play football when he was here.

Because this fan base + ownership want immediate results. Like all QBs, they play well when the team plays well. We were trash when they were here.

It’s sad that people are stilling putting the blame on the QB.

Some people just want Elite play immediately. No patience. No understanding of how other players + coaching impact QB play. Bryce is staying for a while. Yelling about it isn’t going to change anything.

Tepper is like the average Panther’s fan. If a QB isn’t immediately an all-pro hall of famer, he wants to move on. Football is the ultimate team sport. The team has to be good for the QB to be good and vise-versa. There are very very few exceptions. Darnold never would have been good here because the team is still bad.
