That’s not an easy fix.

We are stuck with DC and DM because we couldn’t get anyone else.

Unfortunately, Tepper has to give those two guys at least three seasons to repair his reputation.

Otherwise, the candidates we need will continue to choose other jobs.

I wish, but I don’t think we can do that. Tepper has a terrible reputation of firing too fast, which means the best candidates stay away from us.

That’s how we ended up with Dave and Dan.

Unfortunately, we need to let those guys play out three full seasons at least before we hit the market again.

This isn’t a ‘slow start’.

This is the same level of play we’ve seen the past 3-4 years.

Slow start implies they can play better.

It’s not a shock. We dropped backup quality players and signed new (higher paid) backup quality players.
