    In other news, an inside source on the scene, Smitty's Lawn Guy who also mows Watson's lawn, says Watson to the Panthers is guaranteed. Just finalising the deal which reportedly sends Bridgewater and a future 7th rounder for Watson. Only hold up now is ironing out the hometown discount.

    I liken him to Dante Culpepper. Super strong arm, in no way as athletic as Jackson or even Cam. Heard he ran close to 4.65 Could turn into a Josh Allen or Vince Young. If we get him then he will definitely be Pat Mahomes.

    With the latest Lions move we almost have to move up to get QB. Cinci and Miami will probably trade down a few spots. They'd be silly not to. At least that puts us in play at 8 to make a move up.

    Everything you said is spot on. The problem arises when the cellar dwellers chime in with ridiculously inflated offers that we can't remotely match. That's when I hope we will laugh in their face. Someone will assuredly out bid us. Our only hope is his list of teams will be short. If the Jets or Dolphins are in the mix then we're pretty much out. They have to much fire power.
